What are those yellow towers called? I can't remember the name for it, is it just a maintenance tower? I hear they can be very dangerous to use on tall towers

Statistically, apparently lumberjacks have the most dangerous job because they are cutting trees down. I'm a wildland firefighter, I cut trees down too but most of them are burning.

It's an 8ft face TV tower, about 1100 feet tall at the point the video was shot. Can't say where, I might get a friend in trouble if I do. I think that the guy isn't laughing at 0:46, it looks like he got his fingers stepped on. the little white dots on the ground are full sized pickup trucks. I'm too chickenshit to climb it myself. I did a 300' tower once without restraints, the second time I tried to climb I froze up because there was a distant thunderstorm

Most likely the steel chokers are bigger than 1/2" I would guess 1 1/4 minimum on the basket that holds the pole.
