This classic high energy dance track charted summer of 1967. Bend Me, Shape Me charted winter 1967-68, both Acta label. Thank you for this great song & the visuals! DAVEDJ
I didn't know these guys were from Chi-town too. Man there were so many great groups from there in the 60's! New Colony Six, Cryan Shames, Chicago, Basooties, Buckinghams, Ides of March...probably more I can't think of.
@73849309378 I had to look up the Basooties...they were from Gary, Indiana, which is why I never heard of them! I have a 3-part tv doc on these groups, 'How Chicago Rocked the 60's' in case you're interested :)
@bze2nlz1 Oops! I really threw you a curveball with that huh. Sorry. You're right. unitedmutations is where I found them online. But they used to play in my home town in the 60's and somehow I got that they were from Chicago. They just did covers then but they were a great, professional sounding band and had great harmonies. If they only could have written or got someone to write songs for them, they probably could have went far. Oh yeh, I watched your vids a while back. Excellent.
What a great song....enobles pop, much as the Beach Boys and Beatles did, and at the same time as the same...one wonders what American Breed, with a little elaboration, concept albums, and fame, could have done...
0:33 sounds alot like "Let's Hang On"

Love this psychedelic lollipop of a song!
I have the ability to step out of my head (quite frequently actually).
