Thanks for the response. I know what you mean,, sometimes the sound is not all that on the vids, but this does sound great as it is. would love to hear it real time.
Yes, i agree... Thats why i is going to be difficult to find a manual c5, in the combo i like.. But there is no better sound than that big V8 giving it large !!! as we say.. cheers mate
Love the vid... Sounds so lovely.. Even better it is a manual.. that is rare !!! I want a C5 manual.. very difficult to find i hear.. not a Zo6, they are just ugly compared to the standard.. Do you find it a better drive that the auto ??? These is comments from England, by the way
@ scannell1986 - Both tranny types have their pros/cons. I prefer an auto when it comes to pony cars/muscle cars as they're a lot easier to be consistent with in terms of straight line acceleration. With a "sports car"- having the ability to control where and when you change gears while driving down your favorite twisty road, makes the driving experience so much more enjoyable. You really get the feeling that you're "in control" where as an automatic is just basically point and shoot...
They are ZR1 style replicas with the Grand Sport offset. The dimensions for the rear wheels are 17x11 running GoodYear GSD3 tires sized 315. Fronts are 17x9.5 with 275's. Hope that helps. :)
Got the headers from from Exotic muscle but I'll warn worn you, my experience with their "customer service" wasn't all that great. I think that's something you definitely need to take into consideration should you you decide to buy from them If something goes wrong, you're out of luck. It's up to you whether you're willing to take that chance.
Personally, if I had to do it all over again, I'd go with TPIS headers instead!
great video man. sounds great. bad azz launch. how many mustang owners have u scared at the redlight launching like that? I bet they were sayin to theirselves " holy sht Batman!"
hey man, I got a 91 corvette 6 speed.. Im trying to get a nice exhaust for it. This one sounds amazing. I was also thinking about getting a flowmaster since they are more price friendly. I just wanted to see your input on this. Also could you name the exact Borla exhaust you have?
Should you end up choosing a Corsa exhaust, the part number for your '91 is "14115". You can find them for as little as $900 if you shop around. Flowmaster cat-back's costs less because they're made of mild steel rather than stainless steel like the Corsa. So long as you don't drive it in the winter though, you won't have to worry about rust. The Flowmasters have a nice deep burble at idle, and sound really good at wide open throttle, but they create a lot of "drone" inside the car as well.
just get some long tubes and get some muffler eliminators. eliminators will cost u $140 and sound great or you can pay a lot more for the Corsa. choice is yours
How I wish I was there LIVE to see and HEAR your beast!!!! Video does not do it justice. If I were there my jaw would have dropped and unraveled 20 feet, and my ear drums would explode
beautiful !!!! i love it i wanna do the same thing one day with my vette after i fix all the bushings on it i just bought new tires so it will be a bit

@scannell1986 my 1992 is an auto and im fine with it. stick gives you the full effect but im just way to lazy.

@scannell1986 Could you import a C5 from the United States? The C7 is coming out soon, so look for C6's to depreciate.

I wish my friends auto vet was stick like yours is. he wont stall it and the auto is weaker.

Your ZR1/grand sport wheels are called A-molds(after all the first yrs of the ZR1 had saw blades) Not talking crap just informing you.
The car sounds great! I will be buying longtubes soon. I love your car/ video/ responses. Now I am educated on who deal with and what to buy. Thanks.

After seeing your other vid I must know.. What size wheels are those.. I didn't think wheels that large would fit under an lt1.
