Thanks so much for your comment! Although I lived on the Bering Strait for four years, last year was the first time I was close enough to the ice pack to see it. People have no idea how awesome it is. In equate it to witnessing a "horizontal avalanche".

I was on St. Paul Is. at that time and we had the pack down there off and on.

It didn't do the collision thing down at the Pribilofs, too bad as it is beautiful. What do you do in Wales?
