  • He lost me at "brain glue". My brain said "what is he talking about?" Took too long, had to stop it, lost interest, rambling on and on... Grr!

  • maybe the elephant can't turn left unless he tells you to tell him to turn left (by tapping)

    ???

  • In the case of stepping on something hot, the brain is not aware besause the whole process of escaping is provided by reflexes that have centers in the spinal cord. So, the brain has nothing to do with that. That's why it happends so fast, and eveybody know that since long time ago...

  • if you listen to this, skip to the 12th minute....actually skip to the 13th minute.....actually skip to minute 13:30...

  • so is glia in the brain our dark matter?

  • Comment removed

  • There is an ego, I lost it for a few seconds like three or four times one evening, like in waves, Then it stopped after I denied whatever had been fooling with my self. It is a strange feeling...

  • The beginning from :57 to 2:04 explains christian thought.

  • So the brain reacts to things before they happen? Is there any evidence to support this?

  • @14sJakeB190 Maybe this Neutrino moving faster than light which would allow for seeing something before it is seen by the eye

  • What we call "choice" is just a benign interpretation of acquiescence to forces beyond our understanding.. We become aware of thoughts "after the fact". How could you generate a thought before you generate it?

  • @s6y9l I've heard that idea stated in many different forms and I believe it has merit; however, I don't think we have the ability to prove it just yet. There are a lot of reasons not to believe it is that simple either. For example, even if we accept that our thoughts are somehow completely out of our control, the process of sorting them out rationally, prioritizing, and focusing them to action would probably be a better definition of a "choice," imo. This could be a place for consciousness.

  • @theduderabides There's no way to tell really. It's impossible to be objective. Whatever our thoughts, beliefs, perceptions, etc, we are compelled to accept them in order to function. Some say that life is a dream, a virtual reality. It has occurred to me that perhaps I am a dream, dreamt by something so powerful that I even have my own thoughts. Who can say? Thanks for your input and I am not arguing with it. It certainly seems more pragmatic to believe that we have choice.

  • Never heard those experiments explained like that... and I expect he is actually explaining it wrong or I'm misunderstanding him. It seems he is claiming our brain is deciding which light it "likes" before the light even shows up. That is even more mind boggling than I thought, because now it seems our brain can tell the future. How does it even know when the light is coming on to start deciding whether or not it likes it, much less if it likes it. Does not compute.

  • You are not the noises in your head ;')

  • Jews....................

  • @madenew000 why do you think science requires faith?

  • The Libet experiments do sound weird when you narrate the action based on a purely linear account, but if you take parallel distributed processing seriously then the results are not as weird. Parallel distributed processing enables the brain to actively process some number of possibilities for action simultaneously and the "chosen" activity is the only one that reaches consciousness. If parallel distributed processing is how the brain works then we have to expect activity before awareness.

  • I think I have a brain in my hands and feet. So it's all good.

  • @EpicMrEric I think I have a brain in my pants. It's not very smart.

  • @ojideagu quantum physics has nothing to do with finding a creator. there are theist physicists and atheist ones. the universe its only a perception of our mind so in reality we have no clue what it really is. I'm not saying there its a creator but you sure as hell cant say there isn't, you just don't know. I mean we could be a computer simulation for all we know. keep an open mind there is no need for an ego

  • @BlastofFreshAir you know the problems I find with all this is isn't our brain and how it works also just a perception of another brain/mind. I mean if quantum physics its right and the materoal world does not exist that would therefore mean our brains and bodies are also just percepption of some sort of consciousness?

  • i just listened to this whole thing and need to watch it again because i wasn't even paying attention, my mind was somewhere else.

  • long winded sucker

  • TAKE THE BRAIN OUT AND PUT IT IN BACKWARDS OR UPSIDE DOWN THEN SEE WHAT THAT PERSON IS CAPABLE OF.

  • This is good but you could have explained all that in 1/5th the time.

  • @FlargidyTV It is said that philosophers could tell each other everything they know in 2 hours

  • @ZeroDantemL Ha

  • Even when the brain show signs of "firing" before a "decision" it doesn't mean those firings were indicating a decision or outcome perhaps a preparation - the subconscious perhaps is picking up things in the environment a few milliseconds before it would appear for us as observing it like maybe the subconscious might detect with acute hearing or other senses something and puts the mind in a prepare mode

  • Most of the comments here made me laugh instantly,LOL , I had some weird experiences years ago during and after a work accident and 6 months and 8 surgeries at the hospital. Now it all makes sense ,thanx for the video . A lot of info coming out is really pointing to a new way of looking at life , if you think you had truble figuring how to use your electronic gadgets and computers. You really going to have a hard time adjusting to whats coming ,Its BAD just NEW to YOU i PEACE to all and LOVE

  • this guy is stupid.

  • You're about to feEL the wrath of my fist! No just playing buddy. But don't ever ramle on like that again.

  • 0=2

  • i have a theory about the ego

  • I'm just trying to imagine a light that I don't like lol. If this whole theory is based on that 1 experiment, I think he should explain the experiment a bit clearer. People are probably choosing at random. Sounds like the subconcious making pre-decisions to me.

  • But then we have known about this for thousands of years... it's one of the points of meditation, to control the inner you.

  • here we go again!

science can never explain ego. never. stop deceiving!

  • @madenew000 I think it can since it's nothing but a focusing mechanism of your energy. Science will eventually start working with those kind of energies, but of course ego, as you mean it, will not be an issue any more by that time.

  • @H84Gabor only gullible people will fall fo ryour deception and LIES! no scientist is this universe will ever ever be able to explain ego scientifically! It is New Age deceivers and liars like you that corrupt people's minds and stink the world ! Get a life and stop lying, cos it's laughable!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @madenew000 blablabla

  • @H84Gabor what can I expect from you? blablablaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!

  • @madenew000 Well, you wouldn't expect anything if you had a proper 'knowledge' of ego and new age things to begin with:)

    peace

  • @madenew000 you just sound like a spoiled brat

  • @norskemann1

personal attack now, are we? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! never mind...carry on!

  • @madenew000 Science is about studying what can be physically "seen". Take notice that "seen" is meant as a term of "know and understand". Science is based on naturalism, and by default, discards supernaturalism.

However, science doesn't make sense without "reason", which cannot be explained by science itself. What a paradox, huh?

  • @MrVirtualCoder

Science is the study of physical nature. SUPER-naturalism is BEYOND science, and science cannot describe nor understand it. So, science would be ignorant to 'discard' what it can't explain

Seeking the Creator of nature and rest of the universe will definitely bring the weak foolish frail stupid pathetic human being to have a very teeny meeny tiny tiny glimpse of the awesomeness of His SUPERnatural power. All Christians can testify to that. SEEK & YU'LL FIND!

  • @madenew000 I'm not sure as to what my response should be. What are you implying?

  • @MrVirtualCoder Im saying that science is meaningless without faith. Science is useless without nature. Nature cannot exist without a Creator. The Creator is the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • @madenew000 If you think nature cannot exist without a creator, then you understand nothing about Quantum physics and the Universe.

  • @MrVirtualCoder He's been blocked. (I'm sick of listening to him.)

  • its a higher self in the end its still u this guyy says the same thing lik 8 times

  • wait, so free will is an illusion?

  • Could you give a list of the references you used?

  • guy gives 45 seconds worth of examples for 'i can feel X'

  • So the brain is slow first then its fast....fuck man...

  • Neat vid!

I am an artist trying to promote my theory on the dynamics of light and time.

This theory is based on two postulates

    1. Is that the quantum wave particle function Ψ represents the forward passage of time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π itself

    2. Is that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w- function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event.

This process of continuous change we see and feel as the flow of time itself!

  • GET TO THE POINT :'(

  • "Storing information is a Huygens combination." (As above same below)

"Multiplying Time forms information!, equal+ and - opposite Energy equals Mass dividing Acceleration."

  • the beginning: "normal people say 'i can feel my hand',' but that's not necessarily true....in the french language you actually say "i can feel the hand." so what, this is only for people in the english language? i'd say so since many other languages don't describe their body parts so possessively. XD

  • @TheMessianist He never said any of that stuff in the whole video?

  • all things that happen are already pre-planned by you while your body is sleeping. you will usually not stray from what your subconscious knows you would do

  • i really wasted my 15 minutes!

  • So if i understand correctly, someone with NPD is the guru who jumped off the elephant and walks around?

  • Comment removed

  • umm... has this guy ever heard of reflexes??

  • we do have a money hack (printing money) but if we do it too often it really messes up the thing called the economics.

  • boring!

  • Famous nobel winning Physicist John Wheeler had this to say "The quantum process has nothing to do with counciousness." When physicists use the word "OBSERVER" they are refering to a non counsciess "MEASURING DEVICE" that collides photons against electrons. The collision destroys the exterior waves leaving only the stronger interior waves intact a particle is just the inside uncollapsble strong wave. Way to manipulate/batardize terminology to mean something else completly for your agenda.

  • i can feeeeeeelll lol

  • And what about the reflexes, and then the brain tries to explain the motivation of the reflex, reflexes that are formed in years of evolution. I mean, the reflex is the elephant and the brain is the Guru.

  • @ROBERT200300 sorry if i made any gramatical mistake, not my first language

  • @ROBERT200300-Just like that movie Avatar. What if we were ( or are) originally spirit beings which exist interdimensionally ( outside of time & space), but realized that in order for us to fully experience the physical plane with all vividness, a physical body had to be prepared which could interact with the physical world. What if our true mind, and spirit just about exist out of this 3rd dimension as one, but the body is an avatar. Look at astral projection- Robert Monroe- Hemisync

  • I would really like to learn more about this subject. All aspects of it. I'm just a quntum "mom" wanting to broaden my understanding of all thats quantum. I took Matrix Energetics by Richard bartlet, and love " What the Bleep....please direct me to sites that continue where you left off and that may go into different directions with this information. Thank you. ( The elephant made me post this.

  • our universe is just a simulation ran by super computers which belongs to beings that are billions of years ahead of us in terms of technology

  • @ProjectILT If thats true, thats depressing as hell.

  • @ProjectILT - Just what I've been thinking. However, I've looked into Metaphysics, and ran into people I know who can astral project, & remote view. It would seem we were in a "spirit" form before time or space existed. Time & space may be a construct by consciousnesses that exist outside of it ( which I believe may be us). In a spirits normal habitant, eventually everything got boring, so the spirit game developers made this time & space biological game where a spirit can experience new things.

  • Elephant, take the wheel,

    save me from myself,

i cannot do this by myself

  • You really go overboard with the examples dude. Plus "you" are only your conscious self. "you" aren't *just* the ego, or *just* the id, or *just* the instincts. your consciousness, your rational self is not stagnant. It flows in the neurons, it transcends specificity.

"you" are nothing more than what causes you to think the way you do about whatever youre thinking about right now, and at any given moment.

And dont think about thinking about why you think about things or you will DIE!!!

  • Very rapid responses (which are not by any stretch "instant" as claimed), such as reacting to a hot coal, come from processing which occurs in the spinal cord itself; brain processing *follows*. Anesthesia shuts down the response system of the entire nervous system.

BTW, tagging & labeling this with "Dr. Quantum" is a cheap trick to spread your set of ill-informed pseudoscientific beliefs on consciousness by tricking people into thinkingn this is WTBDWK. Go read a neurology textbook already.

  • @AnnatalaWolf The lecturer is Fred Alan Wolf an American theoretical physicist specializing in quantum physics and the relationship between physics and consciousness. This audio has been cut from a 4 hours lecture of his which's main title is 'Dr Quantum - Meet the real creator: you'. With any further questions/comments turn to the professor.

( I just came across your respond.)

  • @H84Gabor That should have been posted with the video in the description. Duh

  • @cunnidvd Because of the sort of people I didn't expect to come around, yes.

But now the thumbs-ups keep it just underneath that anyway.

  • @AnnatalaWolf do those textbooks say -or explain- that nerve signals (ions) travell less than a few centimeters per second, and you become aware of the feeling before the signal has reached the brain ?

    i think not.

  • @TheQedqubit Different nerves transmit at different rates. The reason textbooks don't make the claims you make is those claims are false. Pain signals do travel slowly, but the accompanying pressure and muscle positioning signals, as well as the signals that stimulate the autonomic reflexes that allow you to be aware of pain before the pain hits, travel more than a hundred times faster. Being a physicist doesn't make you an expert in biology, nor does it make you any less a crank.

  • @TricksterUlric Academics decide politically what gets into the textbooks.US supreme court returned Tesla as the rightful owner inventor of radio patents over marconi in 1943, yet still we are taught about marconi; nerves are LIKE sparkgap capacitor-resistor networks LIKE tiny teslacoils, but it CANNOT be concidered without RIDICULE because nowadays experts wern't taught about tesla, and trust respectfully that they were taught everything there is to know--but we are NOT!

    QUESTION EVERYTHING !!!

  • @AnnatalaWolf

    watch?v=7N1KgVFbm84

  • @AnnatalaWolf yup your very informed. Not ill-informed at all.

  • Your forgetting that if you say "burn" yourself you automatic reaction is to remove your hard from the danger to avoid the lag time of sending the information to the brain and back again... -.-

  • First "time machine", then "time mind". Go fuck yourself.

  • ok, so how do i get the elephant to start paying rent?

  • @shankful1 hope your not talking about your wife

  • Comment removed

  • Fukit, I am gonna grab a beer.....

  • try this theory the circle in the circle using the electron in the biggest electron. like alchmely u borrow or use to give and take a piece of the i to the I

  • it just came to me that it would be more fitting to say that you can either identify with any aspect of the motor cycle model (the vehicle, the driver, the passenger or any combination of this trinity) or the road or even all of the above.

I suppose God is the only One able to identify with all of the above, resulting in Jesus Christ's words "the Father and I are One".

Btw i am not referring to religious doctrine, but to what Jesus Christ knew and experienced when He reached full enlightenment.

  • I didn't catch that name: "Statusoff method of spirit acting"?

  • @innerlocus "Status off method of spiritual acting"

what he means, i think, is this, you can either go through life believing every decision you make is really by your own choice, or view your life as traveling a road as the passenger on a motor cycle and while you bend in to the curves with the driver you are not really driving the motor cycle, although the ride would become very uncomfortable for the both of you if you would not cooperate but resist or counter the bends and curves of the road

  • Probably that's why we can solve some mathematical problems below theoretical time complexity (like for sorting a random array is O(n*logn)).

  • english is not my native language, and i dont get it pronounsuation correctly right. Please post text of this article, so i can read it, im really very enjoyed quantum physics and neurobiology.

  • @lexleogryfon Have you got a transcript yet?

I can also direct you to some other related material.

  • @LordShivasServant i did not get it..

  • @lexleogryfon

English isn't my native language either. Just listen to it, listen to everything you can in english and if you do that in like 4 months you'll be able to understand way more. When I moved to the US I could barely understand but after a month of just listening I could understand pretty much everything.

  • @himl994 thnx quantum bro :) seems to be u are rock star, check out vimeo.com / 8301567 & vimeo.com / 21596928

  • @lexleogryfon

Rockstar? Not even close haha Just a kid with a guitar.

Cool videos by the way. :)

  • For those who watch Bashar, the sacred elephant he talks about is our Higher Mind.

  • woah...so life gets lag?...does it have a money hack too? lol

  • @Deeredman4

    lol =D

I don't think that the point is that your brain is late, but rather that it knows the future..

That's what I got out of it.

  • @SlipAllCityToy but aren't knowing the future and experiencing the past the same thing ;) think about it for a minute :D

  • @Deeredman4

    oh...

    no wait-

    no wa-

    ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamnnnnnnnnnnnnnn :DD

  • @Deeredman4 Yes, smoke DMT. Universal blessings of unlimited value

  • @Deeredman4 Yes, we just haven't found it yet. :|

  • @Deeredman4 Abraham Hicks - Money and the Law of Attraction = Money hack

  • @Deeredman4 lol

  • What does it mean to "like" or "not like" a light? I could understand if it was a picture of something, but a light? That seems meaningless.

  • @jamesrumsey It's up to your imagination. (higher self, supreme self, source, consciousness what you are made of, or even LIGHT itself figuratively etc.)

  • @jamesrumsey I think they're just trying to keep the experiment as simple as possible. Looking at a complex picture could get your brain firing off more signals than they need to look at.. making the data harder to read.

  • @jamesrumsey Well in order to neutralize any predisposition for certain things, you have to choose a nonsensical and quite literally impulsive approach for an accurate response. For instance, if you were to see images of a giraffe or a zebra, death or birth, you may have a predetermined bias towards "liking" or "not liking" either. Similarly, if you were just to use different colors of light, or shapes, sizes, etc., then you again may have a psychological predisposition, ruining the experiment.
