I play a different version which is equally nice. I'm a big fan of Lamb rags also. Top Liner is a nice one as is American Beauty. I play a version of American Beauty in drop D that is very nice.
have you ever heard the acoustic ragtime nightingale version on the movie soundtrack crumb? that was my favorite until I heard your version... much respect. ...
can i ask a favour? ... I cant read music, and I've searched the internet for days trying to find a guitar tab on this song. ... Would it be possible for you to tab me just a little bit of the begining? I think if i got the first couple bars i could just watch you and figure the rest out.. If not i understand if your tooo busy.
I play the guitar on the street over 5 hours every day (without rainy day), so I'm not exhausted with playing for a few minutes.
I tend to use several barre chords in my original open tuning (EbAbCFCEb), but I don't keep too much force to stop the string at many cases, and often loosen as muting the notes.
I think muting is effective as well as rhythm cutting and also keeping stamina of one's finger.
Wow, this is amazing :D Good job !!
