Daigo has been defeated before by a US named Alex Valle, and that shows that japan just has the right settings to give birth to a champ (See their vivid arcade culture) but any other country can measure up just as well without. It just takes practice, a bit of gift and lots and lots of hard work. Anyone can do it but not everyone has the patience to get over the extreme hurdles of being a champ though...

its been a LONG TIME since valle was even remotely relevant in a fighting game..

the only time i saw him beat daigo was in a TS match, where daigo hasnt played in over two years at the time.

valle was an ok dictator in Nilla originally, but quickly fell off.... after that pad sakura tore his head off at last years evo.
