They sure do have their game on. And I wish country was still this good now. These are the kind of groups that understand how country music was meant to be. Just don't like most of the "new" country, rarely listen to it. Give me Hank, Hank Jr, Waylon, Merle, Travis, Alabama, Confederate RR, Pirates of the Mississippi...that bunch!
WOW!! Awesome!! Are they back or are they just randomly recording songs??? This group will never be forgotten, move over Elvis, 51 Million Fans can't be wrong!
i have to agree with you on this one, going to Miss Mark, He was indeed part of the group, He will forever be part of the group. If not why did they promo themselves in such a manner for many a years. Interviews and such like,
I am a huge Alabama fan and nice job on the effort but....only Waylon owns this song. I lived in Huntsville during the years the boys from Fort Payne were winning CMA Group of the Year over and over...great music and great people. I hope to hear them back on country radio where they belong.
Who is the gentleman talking to Randy at the :21 second mark and shown throughout the video? Also, they did a great job on this song. Interesting how they were able to weave the "Alabama sound" into the song while keeping the song true to its original sound and feel.
You know...you have the Brad Paisley song "Old Alabama" out.....and now this video from Alabama (albeit a "tribute" performance)........won't be a bit surprised if the boys from Ft. Payne don't hit the road/studio again in the near future........just got a hunch they might be getting the "itch" again..............
Rascal who? This is the best group that ever was and is in country music. Love how they make this sound with that signature Alabam beat. I was just waiting for the fiddle solo. Miss you Waylon!!!!!
One legend covering another legend. It reminds me of how George Jones covered Conway Twitty's "Hello Darlin'", only George didn't change the words of the song, unlike Alabama. They made the song seem as though they wrote it. The one thing I can honestly say is that of all the people who could've done this song, I'm glad Alabama was the one who won out. Kudos!
sooo glad to see one of my most favorite groups back ..... awsome come back ... you havent lost a thing thats for sure and still good looking just more mature yeah..
hank did it that way.
