I am a huge Alabama fan and nice job on the effort but....only Waylon owns this song. I lived in Huntsville during the years the boys from Fort Payne were winning CMA Group of the Year over and over...great music and great people. I hope to hear them back on country radio where they belong.

One legend covering another legend. It reminds me of how George Jones covered Conway Twitty's "Hello Darlin'", only George didn't change the words of the song, unlike Alabama. They made the song seem as though they wrote it. The one thing I can honestly say is that of all the people who could've done this song, I'm glad Alabama was the one who won out. Kudos!
