This is why i like TNBC. In every other film associated with Disney, the villains death is usually entirely an accident, or caused by themselves. The hero will usually try to help them, or show grief at the sight of them dying. Here, Jack shows no mercy and that absolute lack of care when Oogie's bugs fall into the stew. Clearly, the pumpkin king will not stand for your shit if you mess around with him.
