@Popteart Totally totally agree, and I can't believe the audience didn't laugh when she said carrot sticks because come on, that has to be a joke giving out carrots on Halloween? That's a good way to get your house egged, soaped and TP'd. Or worse, remember what happened to David when he gave out fruit? Somebody threw a watermelon at him. But yeah Jackie was nuts in the junk food episode, do we really believe she ate wheat germ and watercress during her pregnancy?

Barely a year earlier Nancy wanted to have Roger's baby, and now she's calling others "breeders"? This show was great from S2-S5, but in the later seasons the show was constantly contradicting and retconning itself.

For me, Dan's mother will always be the wonderful character played by Ann Wedgeworth in S2's Thanksgiving episode, not the mess they made her into later.

1. Boo! - I don't know if the lodge is ever mentioned. The Conners spend Halloween at home with their spook house.

2. Trick or Treat - DJ wants to dress as a witch for the lodge haunted house/party.

3. Trick Me Up, Trick Me Down - Roseanne & Dan win the lodge costume contest.

4. Halloween IV - The one you mention.

5. Halloween V - Lodge party mentioned, never seen.

6. Skeleton in the Close - This episode. No mention.

@prophetslayerwars I know. What I'm saying is that in Halloween V (the episode that aired a year after Halloween IV), they talk about the lodge party. So her incident setting off the sprinkler didn't seem to impact their invitation to the lodge party a year later. The first Halloween episode without ANY mention of the lodge is this one (and the original Boo!).

I'll list each mention in another reply since I am running out of characters!

@prophetslayerwars No...because in the Halloween episode from the year prior talks about the lodge party. It's the one where Nancy thinks Dan doesn't like her because for the lodge party her, Dan, Roseanne and Jackie were going to go as the Cleaver Family.

Though you never actually see the lodge party in this episode. It's only talked about. It's possible they just decided to cancel it a year later. Or they just didn't plain go.
