i personally think this is a good cover. he kept the feeling of the music intact. he didn't try anything outrageous. that said, he added very little extra depth. but that's just my opinion.

i honestly dont like arguing, i really do like jose gonzales just not this cover he is very talented acoustically, but to say im pulling info out my ass doesnt make sense, newton combines a unique fingerstyle guitaring technique combine with using his own guitar as percussion plus singing at the same time believe me is alot harder and more creative then jose's technique.. now heartbeats that was an awesome cover

I wasn't talking about which was technically harder to perform. You used the work individuality as an argument, which is what I responded to. Newton's cover is clearly much closer to the original, thus, it's less of himself. He is playing the same notes, but using a different medium, however Jose has changed things. It is not more creative to cover a song while playing the same notes yet using another instrument/medium at all. There is also much less risk.
