And I just went to a concert of a guy who sounds BETTER live than he does on a CD. so her sounding the same CD and Live isnt that "weird" because SHE CAN ACTUALLY SING. her voice isn't autotuned. I admire people who are able to sing better live than on a CD, it takes a lot of work and it's hard to achieve. Plus, I never said she can't sing. When other performers use playback their voices aren't shakey and their voices don't crack. Watch the video of her performing it live on her Dignity tour it's easy to tell she is singing live on that video.

I will correct all of you, since most of you are incorrect. She is singing LIVE and she is LIP SYNCING along with this song. During the chorus is where she begins to lip sync, mainly because the control and range is something she is not comfortable in as of now...anything else but the chorus however is LIVE. This is very evident from like 2;28 and on...you will notice a break in her live singing voice and the actual backing track.

Sometimes singers record a 'live' performance in the studio, so that it looks like they're singing live when they're actually syncing.

I'm not sure it's the case here. The vocal sounds a bit too clean and soft to be live...so either she has practised a lot on syncing this, or she has a brilliant soundman and she's singing live.
