Just came back from a 10 day holiday...and I`m sure I can name at least 20 european cities better in every way than Barcelona...
No travel guide will ever show you all the flooded with junkies streets during the night, all the thiefs tricks, all the junk in the Mediteranean Sea close to the world famous Barceloneta beach or can make you sense the disgusting smell on the streets in the old town in the morning...
But i guess if you do it in one day tour to the important sights you`ll find it great
