actually you had full control over perspective in ground control 2, your aircrafts 3d position mattered, and 3d came into it when it came to line of site

ive just downloaded it (yes downloaded, i dont buy games that i even think will be crap) and, although the controls are somewhat original, it isnt a pretty good game

the only thing that seems to matter in terms of 3d, is having the upper ground, which, i think, increases range somewhat

but controls SUCK!!! you can only command up to 1 unit at a time, which in my case causes them to get slaughtered 1 by 1 by enemy units who are holed up...

and indeed, the story is just shit

but meh, it looks okay

The trailer doesn't do this game justice. You gotta look beyond the graphics (which are fairly decent for a fully 3-D RTS) and check out the game mechanics. They made some pretty innovative design choices, and are moving away from the conventional archaic RTS controls that haven't really changed in a decade. The verticality trailer is def. worth checking out.

The scene where the sniper owns that first stealth guy is pretty sweet.

Endwar was a FAIL!.....I can't believe I bought the crap. This game though offers more then just 7 units in total. Crap, in Endwar every unit of each faction was the same only diff was the appearance and stats of each.

In this game you can at least do some epic stuff and even customize your hero character with weapons from storymode bosses. Crap, you can have guys jump from roof to to rooftop.

P.S. This trailer looks NOTHING like the newer trailers in terms of graphics.

in my game magazine it says its a RTS where you can select up to 3 soldiers and instead of eagle eye view you see third person i think and there are only two factions one with humans the other with mutated humans/crabs/lizards and there are actually a first floor and what not letting you fully enjoy the terrain and I've heard of a ruined city level that is awesome.
