  • WOW that is fantastic craftsmanship!! Did you also do the painting??

I wanted to ask you about applying multi layers of paint to give it a flesh tone. I was thinking of 3 to 5 different shades of colors. My questions is do you start with the darker color than work your way to lighter to give it the realistic look?

    Thank you greatly.

  • hi mickael! thank you very much!! well i apply the first layer with a finger size soft round brush , the plaster for that first layer must be almost liquid so that it catches all the details! but not like water because it will crack when it sets!i use a yellow hard plaster for the first layer. the second layer is much much thicker and it sets very fast! i aplly it with my hands. that's about it! i hope i helped! best aris.

  • wow I never thought of that! I've only ever just flicked the plaster onto the clay, but then again I'm only in my second year studying SFX so you most definately know more than me! Very good video :D what paint did you use on the latex? Do you recommend any brands?
