  • Wow, so much talking, I had to go almost all the way to the end of the clip just to hear the damn thing

  • @brandonelliot its a review, not a demo.

  • beautiful

  • I have the M-Tron Pro and I can say that is a mind-blowingly fantastic set of sounds and capabilities. Haunting strings, choirs, brass, woodwinds plus some additional surprises--just like the real Mellotron without the tuning and breakdown problems. Worth the price for the strings alone!.Thank you G-Force--you know what you're doing!

  • @trilingual Hi! Just wondering how much M-Tron Pro costs? Thanks!

  • @captainbaptain I think it was around $250.00 when I got it. You can get it right now (sale)at Sweetwater Music for $199.95 or so. You need a keyboard controller, though; but you may already have that (?)

  • @trilingual Thanks!!!

  • Shame you cant use it in windows 7 :(

  • @theandroids You really ought to look into that because I use this on Windows 7 regularly

  • @jumpbox3 yeah in standalone mode its fine, does not work in DAW

  • LBP motive LoL

  • 7:30 I've always been behind you, so i think we should meet. I've sharpened my knives......

  • I don't get these emulation instruments. Do we use our mouse pads to hit the keys?

  • @DAYD111 lol, no. You use a midi keyboard (keyboard as af an actual piano keys thing), plugged to your computer and voilá.

  • I've been using this for a year. Very authentic sounding and easy to use. I love it.

  • I bought this a few months ago and it's amazing. Sounds exactly like the real thing.

  • i only use hardware va's and analogue synths but this thing sounds awesome and i have nothing that sounds like it. Do you think i would be dissapointed in the sound quality compared to my hardware? I have Dave smihts, nords and access synths

  • I am looking into a virtual 'Tron, and I need someones opinion as to what software to get. I have heard better things about M-Tron Pro's sound quality, but sampletron has more rarer, and lesser heard instruments such as the optigan, talentmaker, chamberlins, etc.

  • This software looks mega-cool. The G-Force team are fantastic. The M-Tron Pro is almost like having a mellotron without the back breaking of carrying a REAL mellotron. SOOO cool.

  • @chiefguggletram It's compatible with all DAW's for both Macs and PCs.

I just ordered my copy and can't wait. Better than blowing $30,000 and an elephant that can't move (had the opportunity back in '94)

  • I just received M-Tron Pro and I'm having a bit of trouble getting it to work on my Pro Tools. Does anyone know if it's not compatible with Pro Tools LE?

  • I have to get this.

  • MTron is good. Worth the doe.

  • it's a right royal cockney barrel of monkeys

  • this is basically based on the Mellotron, finally something that I can have a Mellotron tones to instead of buying a real one, btw this was considered the first Sampler the Mellotron

  • Your online ordering is crap. No debit card accepted and you penalise Mac Intel owners by making them pay to update all products when companies like Ultimate Sound Bank do it for free. You also do not respond to emails regarding such matters which then makes people like me bring the matter up here.

Crap customer support, shoddy online service, brilliant products.

    What a shame.

  • just to let Mellotron freaks know.... theres an iphone / ipod touch APP called ELLATRON... double keyboard mellotron.... with choirs strings and others........$2.99

  • Optigan, yeah. Didn't Patrick Moraz use the professional version of that?

  • yes lot usefull, so as i didnt heard any good sample , i dont belieave its good as original

i beliave it should be far away

  • Excellent video! great plugin! the video speaks for itself, sliders ala VSM..enormous advantage of the old m-tron. Cheers for the Optigan!

How many bank accounts would have to be emptied to acquire original trons?

  • whatever ik multimedias sampletron still beats this shit and has more 16 layers not 2 and the way u can tweak it

  • Get a clue what you are talking about mate, you have no idea about software and have obviously been seduced by some bright shiny knobs...... and while you're at it learn how to spell and brush up on your punctuation, sad text typing twat.

  • Name one that imitates the mellotron this well and cost $200.

  • this isn't that well if you compare it to the real thing.on the other hand you have new instruments and you can use those.who cares about this sound if you going to make some music that sound like its made on toys.who cares about the price.when I make my music,it has to sound good, not cheep like this plugin.

  • Right

  • this plugin does not sound cheap.

  • This isn't a software synth, it uses samples from actual Mellotrons. There is nothing weak about the M-Tron Pro. Look at squonk06's videos where he uses the older version of M-Tron, this is powerful stuff.

  • well, nothing beats a real mellotron, but we don't have another alternative^^

  • NICE, I guess it's out now, can't wait to get it, keep up the good work guys.
