Man, it's great that you are teaching Shanghainese, it gets more people to speak it. I am still afraid the language would go extinct by the time I'm 80, which is not for a while. But by all means I will be speaking a useless language :'(
Love your videos, Glossika -- where can I find a written copy of your Campbell Universal Pinyin? I'm trying to teach my partner Shanghainese, I think it would be very helpful.
@makotodenka Late reply: Of course not. It's like most people don't know that there's Catalan, Bavarian, Tagalog or Bahasa Jawa. If ever, people mostly know the national standard language of a country.
Did you buy these books in Mainland China? I live in Hong Kong, do you think these are available around here or Shenzhen? Would I have to go to Shanghai to get these?
Holy cow that is one nice collection you have there. You aren't by any chance the polyglot who occasionally visits how-to-learn-any-language, are you? In any case, consider me a subscriber!
Hi qzchris, That's only a PART of my collection (and just China)! Anyway, yes, I have the same user name at how-to-learn-any-language, don't have a lot of time to involve in forums though. I will post vids of me spkg euro langs and other stuff okay? I have a lot of theory about lang acquisition, and now I'm creating training programs full-time -- my own business. Thank you for your support and nice to meet you!!!
damn, mike. now you've got yourself learning shanghainese?? very impressive.

@lalalia Sorry I didn't see your message. Write a private message to me asking for the Campbell Universal Pinyin and I'll email it to you.
