Great layout and vid. I love the old railway lamp. I'm curious though, why did you decide not to use the shed portion of your Wills bicycle shed kit?

Yes it is. Thanks for the comment. It fairs up quite well but requires regular cleaning for the best results.

Wicked mate. Looked like you had a good session. I cant wait to get back out on mine,but with it being ground level its soaking wet this time a year.

Nothing better in the summer being out there having a session on it,i sometimes have a beer while on mine lol.

Thanks mate. Yh it wasn't bad. Trouble is all the filming! So much preparation, so many out takes and cut scenes lol! Too much editing! Glad you enjoyed it. I do like the Santa videos, gets us all in the Xmas mood! Next BIG session will a full day to film the Winter Gala vid in January 2010. Already have the 2 out of the 3 visiting engines on site so should be fantastic. BUT, lots more filming, cuttin and editing! lol. Cheers mate.

Thanks alot. When it rains the track is waterproof. The trains are mostly. The rain doesn't affect them. Dirty track does. They do run in the rain but need cleaning off afternoons to keep them spic and span! Thank you.

Excellent! Espicially the night shots. if you don't want your buildings to become 'transparent' when the lights turn on, paint the inside of your buildings black and the light will only show through doors and windows and the like.

Kind thanks. We like the night shots too! Its hard to get the trains in focus though when its so dark! My favourite bit is the "Silouette"of the Black 5 with the lit up buidlings. Just a little idea I had! Thanks for your suggestion too. May try that soon. The lighting costs us around £1 per building to install so its nice and cheap and, as you see, looks effective! Keep watching, I hope we can keep providing you all with interesting viewing material as we have done so many videos now! Cheers

No probs! I have my engine shed lit up and the station buildings lit up too. I am too finding it hard to think of new things to film on my layout. it's 8' x 3' and there's only so many angles to be had on that!
