@Trevsbeach nah BKS (Bekkar Kavanaugh Sheppard) was like 7 years before Love Inc. (Shep , Simone DJ Somebody...) Shep was the face of BKS, the other guys were a major part rarely seen in videos or interviews. Gosh!!!!
@maxday1000 She is or was. Simone is all over singing. She is a hard working women... who doesnt wear shoes when she performs. lol Thats a fact i have seen her 3 times shoe less.
I heard about the G20 protests in Toronto, andit reminded me about this song...."Here comes...and here comes.....here comes .... and here comes the raiaaaaiiiiiiin" Summer 1996.....yep x 10....
Kenya Chill is an amazing track...I have the Astroplane CD and the other day happened upon some Love Inc vinyl (Broken Bones and Who Do You Love) if people wanted to know. I've played Kenya Chill for others and not told them who did it until the end of the track and that usually warps their minds. Halogen was a cool track as were their remixes of Ashley MacIsaac's Sleepie Maggie. Respects to the heavy use of the TB-303. :-)
that's the same singer from Love inc but this is who they were before they became Love Inc. I know this because the I had this album and it had Chris Shepherd's name on it and he's in the back round with the long hair before he put it up in little buns. Don't ask I've been a fan of CS music for a while now. just wish I had the chance to meet them when I had the chance back in '98
Chris Sheppard is my "uncle" :) He's my Dad's best bud. I see him usually when I go to my Dad's. Crusing around with his ATV, he stopped by the other day and gave me a copy of his UK release Loud Ass Mother Fucker CD. It's a really good mix :) I'll probably see him soon. :) :)
I used to hate this song when it came out don't know why, but just a few days ago, i heard it at the end of an Electric Circus clip, and remembered it immediately. When compared to today's crap this was a classic. Maybe because when it came out there were so many good dance acts from Europe, like Real McCoy, Captain Hollywood, Corona that it was overshadowed. Canada creates some good stuff!!
E.C. ooooh man. I miss the good old days when muchmusic was worth watching. Bill welychka and Master T. And Most of all Monica Deol on E.C.
she was hot man, I remember her final appearance, it was sad. I think Emjay was big at the time, lol flying to the moon baby. Gotta look that one up next. I rememebr her performing on e.c., she looked cute with her blue braces, hahaa
i agree in fact i hated this when it came out. Her voice is too coarse, but the background beat can compete with anything Europe came out with in the 90's. Canadians had some pretty good dance tracks too.
The whole Astroplane album is still amazing. 4 Your Love is still a classic cut which I throw into a House set every now and again and the crowd usually goes for it.
I miss the 90s! And I never really got to live them... would've loved to be able to dance to crazy, plain old stuff like this every night. All kinds of dance music have become soo pretentious. I blame Ferry Corsten and his ilk.
Anyone remember "Hits 103.5" and "Power 88.5"?

the arrangement and programming on this still shines, 12 years later. One of the best dance songs of that era, anywhere in the world.

are you for real?!? There were way better songs than this that were streaming around Toronto in the mid nineties!!!!!

Simone Denny is a dance music Diva cut from the same cloth as Martha Wash, Barbara Tucker, Jocelyn Brown and Gwen Guthrie.

Two completely different genres, Ferry Corsten did great things for Trance.
