@Lextoons It's not as bad as the critics say by any means. I have a lot of good memories with this game actually. I would recommend picking it up, it's probably pretty cheap at this point.

I've never played Sonic 06 before. Im actually surprised by how it looks and plays, very similar to the games before this one - SA/2/Heroes/STH - except the graphics have been heavily beefed up and the physics been tweaked too.

@MrRobert1709 i sorta like the graphics sonics running animation seemed nice and the game felt sorta smooth, the glitches were terrible and the concept of the game was stupid e.g. hedgehog from the future and wierd beastiality between sonic and the princess..... lets not forget the suicide at one point, some aspects of the game make me want to play it though...

Parts of this game look decent 3:14 (minus the whole wall jumping bits) but the rest makes me want to kill myself. Same with the cut scenes. They look really nice and sonic looks and feels fast when watching. But there are humans?! And Eggman looks realistic?! The fuck!

i got this game last year as i wasnt interested in sonic 4, couldnt get sonic colours or free riders because i didnt have a wii or kinect. so i got this and actually thought it was awesome. as an action adventure game its great. as a sonic game its alright too. this year i got sonic generations which is infinately better although the cutscenes suck.

@frace7 It wasn't so much the graphics as the play style. When I rented it, I was expecting an excellent game with awesome controls and amazing graphics. I only got the final one. Most of the controls in the manual were taken out of the game, and the controls felt clunky and they didn't compliment each other.

Essentially, the graphics were done by the best, and the controls were done by people who didn't know better.

The only reason why I have hate for this game is because it was way to easy to die for several reasons. Glitches, over sensitive controls or lack of barriers when they are needed. I can't tell you how many times I would suddenly go soaring past a loop or pathway because I was nudged too far to the left by a pixel. It gets pretty aggravating. If only they just spent more time polishing this damn game...

@mast3rsword64 Yes actually, it really wasn't as bad. It wasn't perfect but I sure as hell didn't experience as much grief with the Adventure series than I did 06. Keep in mind the Adventure series was for the Dreamcast and for it's time it was amazing. For 06's time it should have been better but they rushed it.

This game could have been one of the greatest sonic games ever made but SEGA rush so that completely messed up everything, the game had epic music and a decent story line and was made by Sonic Team USA who also made sonic adventure 1 and. Thumbs up if you believe that this game deserves a remake.
