  • Where can I see this whole interview?

  • can someone please tell me what other songs they play on this tour i cant find it anywhere on youtube like this high quality

  • just type in nirvana live and loud and youll get all of em

  • Kurt Cobain was a good man and we will never forget this person.

  • if she floats then she is not a witch like we had thought. I mean come on how do you even think of a line like that?

  • I love nirvana, but his lyric formula was actually really simple...he just spoke in contradictions, once you realise that it wouldnt be too hard to copy.

  • There is much more to his music than that give me a break. Try using a formula like the one you mentioned and you're gonna sound like the band "Bush", unauthentic bullshit. There is no formula for the art Kurt made.

  • cobains genius was in his melodies and chord progressions. he said himself his lyrics ment nothing, he just strung together phrases he thought sounded cool. im a Nirvana freak but even I can see his lyrics were very simplistic, but you know what they say about beauty in simplicity and all that.

  • Yeah his meaningless lyrics only changed the world.

  • changed the world??? nirvana were amazing, but hardly changed the world, dont diminish the real things that change the world like famine, war, disease etc

i love nirvana, there music added to the the things we find beautiful, but it hardly changed the world, if that were truly possible that would be great, but its never happened yet, even beethoven didnt change the world, he simply gave it yet another possible backdrop

  • It did change the world if only for a few years before returning to Britney Spears and Boy Bands. People dressed differently, commercials advertised differently, people acted differently, it changed and challenged a lot of social issues from what was accepted in the 80's to what was accepted in the 90's. People around the world grew their hair, bought guitars, smoked pot. They changed the way people saw the world and themselves with music something your gen hasn't experienced.

  • with all due respect, i was old enough to listen and appreciate and BE A FAN when nirvana were still around and your generation as you put it is hardly unique because it felt it changed the world with music, long hair, smoking pot and buying guitars. from what i know people did all of those things when hendrix burned his guitar, or flash forward a few years and leslie west recorded with mountain, and then again with van halen and steve vai. btw pot has been smoked for thousands of years

  • when the music by a band actually stops war, finds a way to cure cancer, finds a way to wipe out disease, THEN you can say it changed the world, until then, get over yourself....theres a reason why the "rock star" image always becomes a caricature of itself

  • Why does changing the world necessarily have to mean curing cancer and disease? You're on your own narrow definition of what it means to change the world so why don't YOU get over yourself. And I said it changed the world for a brief period of time just as everything else does.

  • no its you who has an over inflated sense of what changes the world, the fact is the world changes very little, new technology is what changes it the most, your comment "They changed the way people saw the world and themselves with music something your gen hasn't experienced. " is what i found silly because how do you think people who listen to all the new bands view the world? the way kurt did? the way elvis did? or the way the new bands they love do. you sounded like an elitist in that comment

  • I sounded like an elitist in my comment to you cause you sounded like a know it all in your comment to mine. They did change the world because in essence they changed people, they changed many peoples lives with their influence and it was a global thing not just in the United States.

  • ok tell me some actual ways they changed the way people think??? give me some examples because its not true, cobain was simply that generations face of unrest, pain, anger, and a wish to commit suicide and the like, these days its emo bands and in the 80s and early 90s it was G&R, Its simply silly people who put too much bollox over the music like stupid statements of "changing the world" they didnt change people anymore than EVERYTHING else changes us all the time, its called age

  • I'm not giving your examples, I've already given you some and you are way to dense to be given any more examples. They changed the world.

  • You're just a fucking stubborn hardass fuck off.

  • I agree. The sad thing is that some people decided to be grunge because they thought it was cool and that was it, and that's why the pendulum swang so quick after Kurt died and the world just wanted celebrity crap and bad pop music again.

Think about the eighties. Rock was a lot of spandex and bad attitudes from 15 minute hair bands. Nirvana killed that shit off!

If Kurt hadn't died, the musical landscape of the last thirteen years would have been so different.

  • @SleepyMuse24 Wild Stallion changed the World!

  • Nicely put. I have a band and there is no god damn formula we just jam and make good music man. I am so sick of these fake fuckers arent you man. echspecially this new rock and mainly the rap bullshit they call music.

  • people just don't realize that kurt like many rock musicians, made sense to himself and those who had been there with him at particular times. he used bits of conversations too. so he often speaks in code which is recognizable kind of like keywords that the other private participants can recognize.

  • several hundred years ago, our ancestors in britain, new england, etc decided that: if the woman is accused of witchcraft, throw her into a deep lake. then if she floats, she is not a witch. if she drowns, she is one. or was it the opposite?

that's where he got it from.

  • It's amazing how much modern music is influenced by Nirvana. You can hear traces of it in a lot of things.

  • 15 years ago dumb fucks

  • oh right. i thought it was 15 years ago.

  • 15 dumbasses

  • i think its amazing how kurt cobain can be an idolto you guys the same way he was to me when i was your guys' age in like 93. its pretty cool how much he effected his generation and the next one, so hopefully you guys can make bands that will have the same attitude towards music as nirvana did.

  • will always be bands that view music the way nirvana did... maybe not in main stream, those are to busy shoving as many heads as they can up thier own asses. Apearently its now the rage to take from other peoples songs.. the one that upsets me the most is Tom Petty's Free Falling...

  • @butchvign1991 Yeah my goal is to make a band and bring real music back to the charts, basically mute modern music and be an idol to teens just like Kurt was, but that's just a dream and that im trying to make true i hope it happens

  • @Druman737 same here brotha!

  • @butchvign1991 that's a great comment, i was 18 months old when Kurt died, yet he's easily been one of the biggest influences on my adolenscence

  • @butchvign1991 I wasn't even alive when Kurt passed, I was born a few months after. Yet I couldn't imagine things without him.

  • Kurt Cobain

Come back to fucking life you drugged up son of a bitch

if you nirvana fans get pissed off at what i said, then fuck you

nirvana means more to me than to you than anything

  • yeah, nirvana means more to you than to anyone else on the whole planet. stop with the "Im the biggest fan" crap. grow up instead.

  • ok lol

  • hahaha

  • best, coolest, rockstar ever.

  • Hahaha,

    "I swear to God,brother."

    He's amazing.

  • lol fag

  • "I swear to god..."

  • What concert was this? I want to see their performance of "School."

  • way 2 take that right out of wikipedia

  • he wrote da song i tink he wud know himself

  • Yeah, but did he ever admit was it was really about?

  • well, that's pretty cliche'. fact is, the real origin of the lyrics mostly go deeper and the true circumstances are not often revealed to the public. how do i know? i was priviledged to be there for some of the things that he refers to in his songs. which are not open to public scrutiny yet.

  • @theCosmicQueen Damn 3 comments?

  • some its about his dad "I just want to know that i/dont hate you anymore"

  • lol "i swear to god, brother"

  • alguien puede poner los subtitulos. Aca en chile tambien escuchamos nirvana.

  • i swear to god brother XD

  • parts of this show were on the mtv site long time ago (2000). but because they're dicks...they removed em.

    Anyway...thanks for the upload!!

  • just like they stopped doing a tribute every april 8th too

    FUCK MTV

  • yeah ive been trying to find this whole interview too, all i can find are bits a pieces. someone please tell me the what to search for to find the rest of this interview!!

    thank you

    peace, love, empathy

    -russell

  • You can download the full interview at the Sound Of Dentage.

  • what month and year is that interview.

  • So? Tell me the name of the god damn show then!

Oh yeah, that reminded me of how mature it is of you to fuck with someone much younger than you. *thumbs up*

  • Wow, he's giving you this shit too...

  • Gosh I'm so sorry for asking? Maybe you could be a little more helpful instead of being a total dick. I just wanted to know the shows name or something, and if you didn't have anything good to say about it, then you should just shut the fuck up, cuz obviously you don't know either.

  • Well jackass, maybe a little more specific?

  • Where is this interview from?

  • he should of sticked to kronik instead of heroin you see what hapens junkies beware

  • It's true, though. You can tell how he's talking that he's a junkie. It's alright Kurt. We still love you.

  • I've always had trouble figuring out what this song is about.

  • I swear to god brother! lol

  • teenage angst has paid off well

  • he has more talent then you i doubt you could write a fucking song, make an album and play guitar WHILE singing all of that is harder then it sounds so why dont you stop leaving stupid comments and go hang out with your talentless' friends

  • You misunderstood my comment, flatdick. I love Cobain. That's why I was sarcastically commenting that he "sounds suicidal" because I think his wife killed him. Get it? Hence the comments about "that fucking talentless hack." Uh - that would be COURTNEY not Kurt.

  • Hey, by the way - I won't call you any more names after this. You can apologize for being an idiot and we can call it a day... For the record, you read it wrong.

  • One more thought for you, sport - I have talented friends. I can play and sing, too. No, I could never dream of approaching Cobain's genius in a million years, but I'm not as daft as you are - that's for certain. Lastly, speaking of "talentless" - you should take a class in rudimentary grammar. Your use of punctuation (or lack thereof) sucks.

  • mkay i misunderstood and im sorry for being an asshole

  • Damn... that's very cool of you, and I must retract my unkind comments. You made my day, actually (as I sit here with "School" blaring out of my speakers at 100 decibles while I type). Thanks, and have a good one.

  • you fucking dick, if he was so talentless then why did he make it so far?

  • Damn people are stupid on this site - read it again... I was refering to his wife as a "talentless cunt hack." Read the chain of comments above - maybe you'll understand then.

  • You are an ignorant fuck.

  • oh my angel i will love u until the day i die

    r.i.p

  • I miss Kurt too

  • Wow, I sure do miss Kurt.

  • that interview actauly tells a lot bot his lyrics

  • Does anyone have the full interview where kurt is in that room with red curtains, from December 1993?

If anyone has it could they upload it please?

    Thanks.

  • I'm making a video of it.

  • Hahaha, "I swear to god, brother..."

    Adorable. <3

  • hes trying to make a point but...

  • And?

    I know that.

  • that....Kurt is GOD!

  • thats exactly why kurt killed himself because of star struck fans like nirvana is my favorite band but kurt was just a regular guy who could express himself in a very smart way

  • @endlessnamless420 why the fuck would someone kill themselves because of that? He had a family, he would not let fake fans take his life... He ended it cause of love, he ended it cause he saw the worst in his future... This is what i think an people who say it's because of media or shit like that are stupid as fuck and not being realistic. Would you take your life because of that?

  • @stevenkh3 dude dont be a prick im not saying thats the only reason

  • @stevenkh3 you think your so smart? kurt didn't even kill himself .

  • Yes he did April 5th 1994

  • @8trackworld Three times the lethal dose of Heroin makes it REALLY hard to shoot yourself.

  • @halifuckinfan Agreed. Plus there were reports that he pulled the trigger with his toe.....hmmmm, one wonders how that's possible when Kurt was found with his shoes ON. The whole thing reeks of suspicious death

  • @isntsheprettyinpink All they had to do was leave the case open, they didn't need to stamp suicide on it and close it. Justice for Kurt!

  • @isntsheprettyinpink Absolutely. I would never try to force my beliefs on a person. But you'd have to be blind to not see that shit just doesn't add up with Kurt's death.

  • @isntsheprettyinpink he came back to life, put on his shoes, then went back to being dead. k?

  • search for "Nirvana Past Present and Future". there you find the whole show in the parts

  • I want the rest of that interview!!

  • search for "Nirvana Past Present and Future". there are 3 parts of it

  • what interview was this??

  • i just want you to know i dont hate you anymore theres nothing i could say that i havemt thought before.

  • sure u did

  • i too have tried hard to have father but instesd i had a dad.

  • I swear to god, brother.

  • Justice for Kurt dudes!

  • This video shows how fucked up he was in the last few months. R.i.P. Cobain
