  • Zainishi kill, rape, swindle, put us into a mixer. On the other hand, China, Korea, Jewish are more racist than us. What can we do for it? We hate war. We can't afford for compasation anymore.

  • I'm so tired of the "Well if you don't like it, why don't you go back to your country" baseless remark. I love Japan, absolutely love it for so many reasons. I wouldn't want to go back. Doesn't mean that there aren't parts that absolutely suck and need changing. When will people realize that exposing the ugly side of things is what actually creates change? We need to be able to at first accept that there are problems.

Thanks for being an honest Flip, and saying what needs to be said =)

  • @twomps730 I'm now in the U.S.A. and have found some parts of America that absolutely suck and should better be changed. But as long as American people find no problem with them, I think that they have every right to keep them as they are.

Americans like Arudou Debido will stay outsiders in Japan forever, because they continue to interpret everything that the Japanese do from the American cultural values and criticize only Japan when America or Americans are doing the same or worse.

  • I am an exchange student in Japan and have been for quite some time, and my Japanese friends would never say it to a foreigner as they (Friends) think it is offensive towards foreigners. Gaikokujin is more accepted when referring to foreigners. Japan does have an enormous issue with "Outsiders" there is not a day that goes by where I am not stared at at least 10 times a day, or a stereotype made. I don't get offended by the word Gaijin as much as I do by the ignorance of some Japanese people.

  • @Drayman94

Perhaps, posh behaving middle aged women would never use Gaikokujin in front of you or other foreigners. They would use Gaikokunokata.

  • @Drayman94

The word "gaijin" is a neutral term and doesn't mean "outsiders." However, many foreigners who understand little or some Japanese literally translate the word and complain that the word is offensive. But those people do not seem to find the English words such as "aliens" and "foreigners" offensive.

  • One more thing.

If you interview Japanese people for TV, posh looking middle aged Japanese women will use Gaikokunokata. They perhaps dont use gaijin and gaikokujin in front of TV cameras.

  • Cry me a river. In the 1940s we Americans put thousands of innocent Japanese citizens in prison camps because we thought all Japanese people were involved in espionage. More recently Arizona has passed laws allowing all non citizens (read there as "only Mexicans") to be forced to show proof of citizenship without a warrant. Since 9/11 anyone of Middle Eastern descent gets additional screening in US airports. What goes around comes around.

  • @flipflopping

Gaijin means foreigner and outsider too. But you forget foreigner means outsider too.

I understand you wanted to be treated equally. But you know, some foreigners treat Japanese as lower people here in Japan. What is that? I really dont understand.

  • lol. racism is biggest problem in usa. never heard of kkk?

  • America has killed people all over the world. In Japan world war 2, korea, vietnam, Golf war, Afghanistan, Irak and so on. Thats normal for japonese being racist because they know the wihte people laught at the asian people and dont take them serious. It must be a lesson to all white people that not always white people can discriminate but other races too.

  • aww some white mother fucker is upset because he went to an asain dominated country and he was looked at, he was upset, fuck you, everyone is racist in the states, in Canada, its horrible, its alot worse in America than in Japan. Also your forgetting, when the Japanese were interned, there was NO JAPANESE ALLOWED signs on towns, and cities. Stop your bitching, its what coloured people put up with every day in America, get use to it. . .

  • hi.. flipfloping i also faced Racism in japan. but it is totally a different experiences than i hared on tv about other country . . what i experienced is that people stare at you. a lot of same experiences that you had ..

  • Your views on raicsm are out of wack. 1. gaijin means outside person, = forigner in English. Japanese dont think forigners are any less of them. Racism in japan is very scares. Its very rare anyone wouldnt let you into onsen because your not japanese, ive been to many places. no problem. Western countries are more racist by far. Theres no japanese racist words for discriminating against race. Usa is plagued with racism and steriotypes towards non-whites.

  • @kanadajin3

"Gaijin" is actually considered offensive by the Japanese and it's use is frowned upon.

  • @AdamAdmaAdam . Thats not true at all. Is used everyday, everywhere, only ignorant people who can't speak Japanese get offended. Just because its not done in the west it doesnt mean its offencive.

  • @AdamAdmaAdam

I am Japanese, and I dont think "Gaijin" is offensive, and I have been using it thinking its a neutral word. But strangely, I learned later that some foreigners think its offensive.

Yeah, if I compare Gaijin and Gaikokujin, the latter sounds a bit more polite, but that does not mean Gaijin is an offensive word.

Then again if I compare Gaikokujin and Gaikokunokata, the latter sounds more polite without a bit. Why dont you oppose Gaikokujin and promote Gaikokunokata?

  • @AdamAdmaAdam The Japanese consider "gaijin" offensive only because they heard foreigners claiming that it is offensive.

If some people in America started to claim that the word "foreigners" is offensive, as it can be translated to "strangers" or "outsiders," then most American people would probably stop using the word, fearing that they would be seen ignorant. The same thing.

  • No matter where we may live outside our homeland, but the truth is that "there's no place like home." I've been living in the States for over 15 years now,and in spite of learning English and being able to communicate with the natives face to face,I still find it hard to integrate due to the large-scale racism all over the States.instead,I stay away from social scenes preferring to be alone.I'm sort of like a lone wolf in the woods, but I'm fine with it and I'm quite used to that.

  • Why complain about Racist in japan. When u white ppl in the US makes more rude racist comments and 2 many stereotypes

  • @Kpopismytaste cause whites are like niggers, complain and bitch but never do anything proper

  • Jesus everyone on here is just shitting on this guy! I love the Japanese, I have Japanese friends, I've studied the language for 3 years now and everything. I love the Japanese and Japanese culture but it isn't perfect and racism does exist in Japan. That's all he's saying.

  • Are you for real? There's more racism in America. I've read stories where Japanese have been shot dead for knocking on a white person's dooor in some places in the South. It's weird and amusing to hear a white guy complain about racism, though...

  • Japanese are one of the most accepting people on the planet, and they treat everyone regardless of race with the greatest sense of hospitality I have ever seen! If anything they absolutely adore foreigners, you're like a rockstar when you're there.

It seems that this guy failed to adapt and so is taking his own over-riding ethnocentrism and trying to blame it on the Japanese.

  • @GnosticHumanist Yeah his disgusting " I'd like to live here without being treated like less than a human" ethnocentrism is just so horrible! The Japanese are very accepting people and love 'em! But the problem, as in any country, is the stupid racist assholes And Japan has it's fair share. and that's true.

  • Also, the japanese use the old "racism gambit": Claiming the rest of the world is racist and they are not. Those foolish enough to believe it will think the japanese are the helpless victims under attack while they're whaling. Any robot minded drones of the world would then do their dirtywork for them. Everything the Sea Shepherds do is to bring attention to what happens in the Southern Ocean. The decent people of the world are against whaling. The Sea Shepherds are doing as THOSE people wish!

  • this guy tend to forget he is an american, americans are actually not welcomed in many countries, especially japan, a country americans had nuked 60 years ago. american military had numerous crimes in japan from raping women to alcoholic issues. Ugly americans need to know your shit does stink.

  • @youbeatmeat

    Amen....

I hate Ugly Americans but I love GREAT AMERICANS who respects Japanese cultures and customs.

  • @youbeatmeat Well, you have to remember Americans are the only country rapists. Japan itself was a country rapist before and worst of all justified it's raping countries. At least we admitted it and apologized. I digress. Some Japanese don't like Koreans or Chinese people although the Japanese are the ones who invaded them, so what justification is there for that? Not welcoming someone based on where they're from is stupid anyway. Japan's shit stinks too.

  • @Ausaini17 japan stinks, period.

  • @youbeatmeat Not sure I agree with that, but whatever.

  • Go back to you'r bace GIJO or should I say YANKY.

  • Is that a wig on you'r head.

  • A sad fact with some humans, is haters will hate. Just be glad that you're not a hater and treat people with respect. Take pride in this.

  • Large city areas such as Tokyo and Osaka aside, most Japanese people's understanding of race is quite primitive and elementary at best... Most people are real sticks in the mud when it comes to accepting foreigners... They also have a education system, especially when it comes to educating the public on positive Internationalization and the affects of stereotyping and racism.

  • lol 128 dislikes clicked by japanese~~~

  • I have been to a small town and did not experience any racism at all. Everyone welcomed me. I have never seen any signs in front of restaurants not allowing foreigners in restaurants, and have not been excluded from anything. Also, if Japanese do feel reluctant to included foreigners, it is not because they are racist, but because of their 'uchi' and 'soto' culture. "uchi' meaning the in group, and 'soto' meaning the outer group. It is even difficult for Japanese people to enter the 'uchi' group

  • you are a bitter, frustrated old man. i have been living in japan for 11 years and it´s probably one of the the least racist country in the world, in fact i have never felt so welcome as here anywhere else in the world! i also lived in the usa for five years, WAY more racist in any possible way, you guys are obsessed with race...

don´t blame your own fuck ups on racism. you move to japan, don´t learn the language, don´t learn culture, don´t integrate...

    just go home!

  • @hatsudai69 Right and how do you treat black people in Japan? It's laughable that white people would assume they can accurately litmus test racism in Asia. White westerners will never-not by a long shot- ever feel the sting of racism in Japan like other coloured peoples.

  • @EarlRegent have even watched the video?

he is mainly talking about racism against white people.

(not too many black people in japan outside of roppongi...^_-),

and as a white person i haven´t encountered a lot of racism worth mentioning in japan.

on the other hand i have encountered PLENTY of racism from black peolple in the us.

not saying that black people have it particularly easy, but they´re not really helping their cause either...

  • @hatsudai69 Oh Jesus, Mary and Joseph! You actually believe that black racism towards white people is anywhere near the severity of racism towards black people in America? LOL! You are living in fantasy land. First of all, weather you like it or not; the group that wields power have much more of an impact on the minorities economically and psychologically. Secondly, I can bet you my life savings that if you took a poll on how many blacks hate whites and how many whites-well you know the answer.

  • @EarlRegent sure, only asian and white people are capable of racism, black people could never

be racist...^_-... and i´m supposed to be the one living in a dream world...

  • @hatsudai69I am glad you are responding to me.Look! A white person will never feel the worst of racism even in Japan. My cousin was spat on there and she is the sweetest little thing. You have no idea what it is to be black. Learning Japanese will never make them treat black people better or the same as white Gaijin. This naivety is coming from a lack of experience. If only you could spend a month as a black person anywhere in the 1st world, you would fall to your knees and thank God u r not black!

  • @EarlRegent i got attacked in boston for being a white guy in the wrong neighborhood at the wrong time.

what´s the difference? i know that black people don´t have it easy, but as soon as the tables get turned they would do the same thing. just take a look at zimbabwe and to a lesser extent south africa.

racism can be anywhere, even in japan. but you would never find that aggressive racism here that you would find in the US, even my home country germany is more racist...sorry about your cousin

  • @EarlRegent and the guy in the video is a white guy complaining about having been treated in a racist way.

  • @hatsudai69 Lol! Haha! You are right! Our conversation shot off in a slightly different direction. I concede that your initial comments are pretty much accurate.

  • @EarlRegent let´s agree, that we should all try to get along as good as possible.

mingling with people from other races seems to be the best remedy. lets do our best to overcome these.

some things in japan annoyed me in the beginning, but now seem really nice to me.

  • @hatsudai69 overcome our differences i mean...lol

  • Respond to this video... anyway, let´s stay on topic. all i´m trying to say is, that during my 11 years in japan,

i have always been treated very nicely. the only people here who complain about racism are the ones, who do not bother to learn the language and customs.

  • @hatsudai69 Agreed :). Take care!

  • @hatsudai69 Did you even read my comments properly before you replied? Where did I say black people can not be racist? Where? You just read what you wanted to read. Typical.

  • @hatsudai69

Banzai!! Please note that I am not a fan of parasite cockroach Gaijins but I am GENUINE BIG FAN OF GAIJINS WHO RESPECT OUR beautiful Japanese cultures and customs.

Please note that I've been "banned" by j-bloggers because they can't have a real conversation with Gaijins committing serious crimes in Japan with child abuse by Eikaiwa teachers to bringing drugs to Japan. I've been banned by TKYOSAM, CIALA and other countless cockroach j-blogger Gaijins.

  • @novajoke i agree with you, that when you move to a foreign country, you have to like

the country, learn the culture and language. japan is my favorite place in the world!

  • @hatsudai69

Amen. I hope you enjoy your stay and don't sweat over small stuff and don't listen to these whiners and cry babies (aka Tko Sam and Ciala) Japan is not for everyone just like any other place on earth....

Oh yeah TkoSam and Ciala banned me from their channel because I made honest comments about how they should respect our cultures and customs. They didn't like my comments in regards foreigners committing crimes in Japan.

  • @novajoke thank you, i´m happy here!!! japan is japan, if someone doesn´t like it, he or she doesn´t need to be here. no place is perfect, but for me me, japan is the best place i have ever seen. i can forget my wallet on the train and will get it back from the kouban. even people that don´t know me help me.

i see many foreigners that behave badly and emberass me... i will always support japan ,because japan has lawys supported me. it´s very simple...

  • @hatsudai69

Banzai! You don't seem to sweat over small stuff so enjoy your stay!!!

Berlin?? I want to visit there one day. I heard too many good things about Berlin and the rest of Deutschland!

  • @hatsudai69 I think you're being very rude. Everybody's experiences are different. If you live in Tokyo, it's not that much. But if you go to the more rural cities, racism really is a big problem. I had no trouble for I'm the most asian-looking kid in my family despite being mixed. But my father, who's a half-french half-vietnamese and my little brother who looks a lot more western than me, have experienced racism in Japan before despite their social circle is of upper class Japanese.

  • i´ve been all over japan and presently live out in kanagawa, and nope, no racism towards me. if you consider it racist when people sometimes stare at you and say,

"look, he has got really blue eyes!!!" you got a point, but this guy is just being that kind of of american who expects every place in the world to be like america, if there is no walmart, people don´t speak english and behave differently from the US, they must be racist. i´ll bet you he doesn´t speak a word of japanese....

  • @hatsudai69

    nazijin

  • @n800chameleon that´s the dumbest insult i ever heard...

  • @hatsudai69 But he has a point. Racism does exist in Japan. in relative terms, Japan in 98% Japanese yet there are a good amount of people who are racist. America is a huge mishmash of people from all over and we might be considered racist, depending on where you are and if you understand the culture. If Japan was like America in it's diversity then you'd probably see a different side of them, but laws policies and the ocean prevent as many people from immigrating/ sneaking into Japan.

  • @hatsudai69 Since America actually has more than one race it unfair to compare Japan's race issues to America's. I mean Japan does have more than one race but a Japanese person can go along time without running in to a person from another country, which is very unlike America where, as I speak, there are at least 6 different nationalities/ethnicities / races in the room I'm in.

  • nobody argues that racism doesn´t exist in japan, but you can´t compare it to the aggressive racism

in other countries. nobody will beat you up because you are from a different ethnicity.

people might stare at you sometimes and want to have their picture taken with you, but that´s all.

  • @hatsudai69 I agree that you can't compare it, it's an unfair comparison. Most other countries are neighbored by other countries where cultures mix, Japan isn't. People immigrate to most other countries or seek asylum, japan doesn't allow that. If there were more non Japanese in japan I think racism would go up, not to say acceptance won't go up too. but we'll never know unless Japan crashes into another country one day and they allow people in.

  • @Ausaini17 honestly, i think it´s the other way around. i´m from germany, and the most racist parts of germany are the places, with almost no foreigners, they´re not used to it. but once you meet a lot of foreigners and corespond with

them, you can´t help making friends once you get accustomed to them. my guess is, that japan would be the same way. i´m a foreigner in japan, but personally i don´t want to many foreigners in japan, because then it would be like any other place in the world...

  • @hatsudai69 That tends to be constant over the whole world I guess, the more isolated places having more racism than others with foreigners. And that happens in japan as well, places isolated from foreigners you'll see a bit more aggression towards them there. but I have a feeling it's not totally gone in places that are populated by foreigners, it's just more hidden because it's against social norms.

  • @hatsudai69 He said depending on where you live, you could experience racism.

  • @hatsudai69 you're just buthurt about the nuke 66 years ago.

  • Japan's managinip

    watch?v=qAf5RcaToJ0

  • Race doesn't make you or break you, it is not an accomplishment or a failure. Not one of us were able to choose our race, religion, culture, class, or country we wanted to be born in. An individual cannot help any of those things, but all one can do is try to add to the betterment of this planet by treating other individuals how they would want to be treated themselves.

  • Some of the comments here are amazing. People bringing up US racism from the past.. People who say nothing when whites are victims of racism, are the same people crying racism when it's the other way around. If you're against racism you should be against ALL racism including Japanese racism. Instead you people are making excuses for Japanese ignorance.

  • Personally i think you was just a big douche and so they purposely treated you like crap and the best way to offend you is to be racist.

  • well america was like that & dont say that you werent! you kill blacks asians basically any ethnicity that wasnt white! you enslaved them! & their country got bomb by an atomic bomb! twice wiping out there people! how do you think they would react!? by america! but im not sticking up for them im just saying you act like racism never existed where you came from dont be a hypocrite!

  • @xxLilJXxX He's not being a hypocrite because that kind of racism isn't happening in the US today.

  • @fitz207Don't be naive It does happen in the US, the only difference, the law and legal excuses is often used to up-press people rather then the law being broken. plus racism is more common in smaller towns in the southern part of the United States. In big cities people are just fucking assholes but that's everywhere I guess.

  • @fitz207 when it happen does not matter. the fact that it happen is what matters.

  • @fitz207 So what, China is the number 1 economy in the world today and they maintained their national identity plus Japan paid dearly for their war crimes and partially apologized. Many minorities in America have lost their roots and ties to their past along with a sense of unity in which America never apologize for, just ignored.

  • @DPAce456 The US still has the worlds largest economy for a single country of $13.86 trillion, China economy is $7 trillion. The US never apologized to minorities in America??? What planet are you living on. The US apologized for many years ago. Whether you want to believe it or not, blacks in America are still more successful here than in any other country. It's a well known fact that blacks are not liked for the most part in Asia.

  • @fitz207 I agree with you about blacks not taking responsibility for themselves however a greater deal of responsibility is placed on whites mostly corporations whether YOU like or not. Plus you talk about America from a WHITE PERSON prospective. America has a large economy yes but we more debt as well and we sacrificed a lot of jobs to oversea prospects and large economy doesn' t equal happy country.

  • @fitz207 What planet do YOU live on? There are plenty of successful blacks in Europe( the good part of Europe that is) and have you forgotten about the Nation of Islam? Honestly if not ethnically black you have no grounds to talk about black people problems.

  • @fitz207 Yes I agree that blacks are not well accepted in Asia however Blacks are not dying at an alarming rate in Asia as they are in America plus America has the worst prison system of all the major western countries . I agree Japanese are ignorant racist but it stupid to compare it with America which had more exposure to foreigners thus a better toleration. An no America didn't really apologize, they did but then they put drugs and weapons in the community and took anyway the jobs.

  • @DPAce456 So you're one of those conspiracy people? The government wants to kill blacks? It's not the governments job to give you employment. Blacks are responsible for the shape of their own community, not the government. That's why blacks have not gotten anywhere in most western countries. Making excuses for failure and blaming it on white racism. Asians are also minorities but they believe in hard work and no excuses, they SUCCEED in America while blacks cling to the past.

  • @fitz207 Well you have a point there.

  • @fitz207 There are many successful black people in America, ask Obama, but oh I'm sorry he is not a true American but a muslim like some would like to say. Please! everyone is an individual responsible for their own actions. But, remember that America has a history of racism and demonizing other cultures and ethnicities. The African Americans have alot of issues they must address, but they have alot of social, cultural, and historical scars they must deal with as well that was not their fault.

  • @fitz207 Also 75% of ur education is taught in the home. Only 1 generation of blacks have the same level of education opportunities as whites. My parents r around 50 yrs old and they did not get the same education as whites. U teach ur kids how to study, how to read, how to value school, success techiques. But if u didn't have a good education ur not going to be able to teach ur kids these things. So even tho blacks who have the same level of education as whites, they don't have the guidance.

  • @fitz207 Asians did not go through the same exact struggle as blacks in the past to even be compared. Native americans however have an if u look at there statistics on drugs, crime, welfare theirs is worse than blacks. So before speak as if you know all there is too know about blacks and problems you really need to do your research.

  • @fitz207 There r many types of discrimination sexism, homophobia etc. that affect how ppl r treated.Ur not holding urself back for realizing it. If anything it makes u work harder to be considered on the same level as some1 who's not a minority. Just cuz Asians r successful doesn't mean they don't experience racism It just means they succeed INSPITE of that when they shouldn't have to face it at all.vAsians, like blacks, have to stay in school longer to get paid the same as a white person.FACT.

  • Compare Asians in America to blacks. Asians get better grades even when they attend the same school. Why is eduction such a bad thing the black comm? Instead of blaming the government for your problems you should look at other minorities who been in America for a shorter and have pass you in every field. Eduction, eduction that's what is lacking in the black comm. Create jobs and clean up your own mess instead of begging the government to do it. There are no more excuses in 2011.

  • @fitz207 Blaming whites, blacks don't work hard, look for excuses r all black stereotypes. Mayb u should do more reasearch on racism be4 talking. Asians have better grades than any other race in this country but they don't make more than whites. Also african immigrants have higher iqs than asians and they make less than african americans on average. What does that say? Also whites own around 90% of all business.White racism has a huge affect on blacks becuz whites run the US.

  • @fitz207 Also ur comparing asian middle class to black poverty. Not all blacks live in the ghetto without jobs on welfare blaming whites. Most blacks r middle class. The japanese r the most successful asians, then Filipinos and chinese making less than whites. However every other type of asian make around the same as blacks (koreans, vietnamese, etc) despite having high iqs. Koreans have the highest iqs among asians. Indo-Chinese who came to america after the vietnam war make less than blacks.

  • @DPAce456 Stop blaming the US for things that happened long ago. If blacks aren't making it in the US in 2011 then it's their own fault. Blaming America for the lack of unity in the black community is silly. Look at the problems in the black community in 2011 most problems are the creation of blacks themselves, not the government. Children having children, crime and drug abuse, children dropping out of school.

  • Just so you know... a good chunk of those signs are there because the shop/store/etc. is Yakuza affiliated and if the Yakuza bug foreigners the International Police get in their hair and they don't want that... Although there are some signs that exist purely because stupid foreigners didn't follow Japanese Culture and Etiquette.

  • @DemonicDerek78 how can you follow their rules if instructions are in Japanese? Every people from different nations have some degrees of etiquette problems, and Japan shouldn't blame that on foreigners only. What I think is Japan hates even more when those problems are committed by foreigners but not by Japanese.

  • @MaolikesDick If you learn Japanese this is no problem. I, and a lot of people in Japan both foreign and native, are under the assumption that you speak Japanese in Japan and you follow Japanese customs and etiquette in Japan... They have A LOT more tolerance of the mistakes we make than you think. about 80% of mistakes we make are not addressed because we don't read the air or they are too polite/humble to tell us.

  • @DemonicDerek78 So Japan expects every foreigners to speak Japanese before they come to Japan? Wow~ that's very UNHEARD of, and I think every foreigners should have second thought about visiting Japan. That's a big problem of Japan actually. Look at Germany. Despite the fact that they did terrible things during WWII, they are well-respected by all around the nation. The part of reason why Japan doesn't deserve same respect as Germany is because Japan is one big selfish nation.

  • @MaolikesDick I'm sorry but what does WWII have anything to do with present day Japan? If you've got a problem with WWII and WWII Japan, go take it up with the senior citizens of Japan. Lest we forget the hiroshima and nagasaki incidents... Moreover germans aren't nearly as accepting of english speaking foreigners as you imply. Go to germany and if you speak nothing but English, very few will want anything to do with you, yeah they speak it but they won't help you unless you try to speak german.

  • @MaolikesDick The other thing to point out is you didn't acknowledge the fact Japanese people aren't the only ones who expect people to speak Japanese in Japan OTHER FOREIGNERS DO TOO, take me for example. I would be very annoyed if you came to Japan expecting the world to speak English to you. If you're a tourist, have your fun and get out, but if you come here with long term intentions I could care less.

  • redneck is talking something...I used to live in germany, americans always makes fuss wherever they are, there are no countries which doesn't have racism.but you must know we can not consider gaijin as a part of us....I am sorry but for me you are just a customer here, maybe in US,everybody can be american depends how you contribute.but japan and US are not same like ancient athen and ancient roma.

  • Thank you for all your videos, sir. I hope that you didn't turn away from shooting another videos because of so many negative votes (or comments) you got. I honestly do not quite get why. I value and respect your opinion and just wanted to let you know that there are people who do so. Good luck to You and Your family.

  • Say ur business will be torched back in the states if this situation happens there paints a bad image of ur country. its condoned in the states too (racism) u say its different but u know racsim is racism not matter how u dish it out. ur not trying to say the states are perfect but many im sure interpitae that why...also if things were said about u and ur kids, ignore it, why gett upset when i total stranger says bad stuff/ racist stuff? but it all up to how much and wht ur gnna ot up wit

  • He's lived in Japan for so long he's starting to look Japanese! Look at his eyes! LOL.

  • In the US, foreigners do not have the same rights, either.

    DUDE

FOREIGGNERS being discriminated is NOT RACISM.

  • since its your opinion I can't say anything but I lived in California and I was bullied by every american I saw just because I'm Japanese. but they never knew I was also part european which is totally racist. many people had the same problem in USA so they left but yeah racism is everywhere though many foreigners I know never had problems in Japan. theres not many crime in Japan.its very low rate (last time I heard of a crime was 2 years ago ) and they respect u here not like in USA (my opinion)

  • @sakuramiyakawa

The point is that foreigners being discriminated is NOT RACISM.

In the US , foreigners do not have the same rights as Americans have, either.

  • @tenacioustaut ah okay better way of putting it. But for me it was racism cuz i am a US citizen and Japanese citizen (I guess that's how you call it... i have both passports) yet I was still bullied because of my race.... so idk..

  • @sakuramiyakawa

you are bullied in the US right?

I was talking about foreigners being prohibited from entering some bars in Japan.

  • @tenacioustaut yeah well I was.. Im not in USA anymore ^^;; they just bullied me because I finally found out those people were jealous about me being Japanese because they think Japan has everything and is very advanced... but those are just high school peoples.. i did get ripped off in stores though because of the clothes I wore... >_>;

well yeah actually im glad they prohibit foreigners though... IN A WAY because they might cuase trouble when they are drunk o.o;; since its not their country.

  • @tenacioustaut but that's my opinion... all I see where I live is foreigners doing random things that could cause problems (in tokyo I mean... especially since people here are so short tempered because all they do is work) thats why the prohibit them from going to bars and stuff... but yeah we understand now ^^

  • @sakuramiyakawa

That is not Racism. That is like avoiding Japanese tourists from Fukushima because of radiation, which is NOT racism

  • @tenacioustaut i never said it was racism. look I have no idea what you are trying to say. i'm just saying I was bullied in USA because many people are racist against Japanese because of their level and cuz they're smart and good at inventing things etc. thats why I had to pay 10 dollars more just cuz im Japanese. And with the bars im just saying that foreigners causes problems in japan! just like in america. that's all.

  • @sakuramiyakawa

Do some research on other half-Japanese Americans.

Are they all bullied because they look Japanese?

If not, maybe the reason is not what you look like but what you ARE

  • @tenacioustaut all of my half Japanese friends are bullied too. they even left. actually most asians where I lived left. (plus because there was too much crime and the economy is bad)

oh so its because Im smart, caring, kind, talented, and very rich? all I know is that the americans i've been with all steal and make fun of ALL japanese just because we are "better" than them. i dont entirely agree on that because everyone is exactly the same. im not half fyi. hmm do you hate Japanese?

  • @tenacioustaut anyway, we are kinda getting off topic with my problem... but i'll say this.. I agree with you about discrimination in every country and racism in every countries. I just told you about my experience and I know whats the cause of it so dont try to cover up saying americans are innocent and the best of the world (cuz it looks like you are saying that). and if you are curious to why im fluent in English, its because yes I lived there and english is a pretty easy language(to me)以上です。

  • wise up and stop being so ignorant . two places to visit on you tube. Japan-How to #1 and Japan FAQ 1. these two guys taught me something i forgot. i have great respect for them because they know the truth. if you yourself would stay in any country without making an effort to know their culture and adjust; or think you can go there and change them so you can fit in. than you are the one with the problem.

  • Japanese people are stupid and racists.

  • @vanbest111

Go to the south usa. Then you'll be enlightened.

  • @Tiberiusize That is soooooo true. Because i live in georgia and there are ALOT of racist white and black people down here :(

  • @Joyblossom2010

Racist black people are the worst, because in the eyes of the police and the authorities there is no such thing as black rasism.

  • i get the same treatment here in the US. and i am an American Japanese. i like to be treated with respect too. do you know why they have those signs up? rude disrespectful foreigners. there was a time, when the war was on, signs like "No Japs allowed" were accepted. and how about those camps you put American Japanese in? thanks for the"hate" video you put up so people can disrespect me and my family when we had nothing to do with your experience. thanks for your disrespect for my race.

  • @puueo -No. Disrespectful foreigners? No. It's just plain racism. Accept it.

-Grow up and be an American. Stop segregating yourself. Your type is the problem with racism. You want to be a hyphen. In my eyes you are an American. Besides the internment camps have been apologized for and compensated for. It's in the past. You bring it up thus old wounds won't heal. Give it up and join the society.

-Time for you and your ethnic group to respect others by getting over it.

  • @howiseethings Dude whatever you can't censor peoples freedom of speach, cultures within America are going to talk about there past and thats just the way it is. Remember the civil rights movement happened only 40years ago.

  • Japan retains allot of culture which other countries people dont understand or respect. Exhibit A-(despite living there for several years) you.

  • thanks for this video

  • japan has a major problem with racism. The problem with racism in japan is that they don't address the issue. They much prefer to ignore it or divert attention away from themselves by saying, "OH! Look at the racist Americans!" How lame the japanese are. All I can say is that President Obama isn't like the others.

I will be a very cold day in hell when the japanese have president who isn't japanese.

Again, the js have a major problem with racism and ignoring it or diverting doesn't help.

  • great video :3

  • Comment removed

  • @megaBUTTER95 Wow. "I'm a white s. african" Did you hear your statement? Not only did the white people kill innocent blacks over there but they even called them racial slurs and demanded segragation in their own country. Not the mention raping the land by going into the mineral mines striping crops to produce food. that the new racism of white supreemacy is to pretend like whites did nothing and its all "Their fault". consider yourself lucky they didn't start killing you earlier. Complainer!!!

  • i love japanese culture especially cartoons and food lol....its sad to here this :( hopefully i will visit one day and find out for myself!

  • COME SEE MY VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!

  • flipflopping what the fuck are you saying? Europe is much dangerous than USA?

Ok I'll guess you think that because youre american, and like 80% of americans, dont know absolutely nothing for the world beyound usa. DO you know why the world hates americans and thinks you are stupid? Because you say thinks you know nothing about. CHeck EVERY statistic about crime rates, in usa its much more dangerous, 2nd of all most of people in usa are religious, which makes it even more dangerous.

  • @TervelBG gotta love ignorant jealous non-Americans...

  • The United States must not say. You are unfair countries. Lion

  • @6ahoahoman9 Lol, from what book did you got that?

  • The thing is, racism is everywhere in the world. I realized that, but still it does hurt. Why do you guys try to flame him, when he's just saying his opinion about life in Japan. Which is actually true. Why can't we all accept the fact that yes, there is racism in Japan. Only, it is not as blatant compared to racism in the states or europe. Why? Because the foreigners living in Japan is a minority. I'm not white, and there are lot of people who are not white as well who feels the same way.

  • RACISM IN JAPAN?

    HEY!

DO YOU HAVE NO RACISM IN THE US?

    JUST SHUT THE FUCK OFF!

  • The only way i will go back to Japan is when i am passing through the airport on my way to a place where i will get treated equally.

  • I tend to agree more with your perspective than flakemans. I've never been to Japan although I am interested in going but I've heard that they are openly discriminatory in a harsh and ugly way.

  • @KiooMyAss

but japanese killed tons of koreans and chinese people u know....

    how about that?

  • @UncleHobbysHobbys So what, white people killed millions of blacks and indians.

  • @DPAce456

    true that

  • If yellow don't take care to white... like a God , it is racism.

    I am so sorry........by Japanese!

    LOL

  • @arinko123

    wtf???

  • @arinko123

    haha my thinking :)

  • @arinko123 lol

  • The term gaijin is a contraction of gaikokujin, and you know it. You also know that gaikokujin mans exactly what you you are saying it doesn't - 'foreign country person'. Gaijin is hardly some catch-all term with an underlying current of being an outsider slur.

The way you're talking about and going on and on about some supposed prevalence of 'no non-Japanese allowed is whining BS. Your problem is that of the loser 40 year old eikaiwa 'teacher', whitie. Fuck off.

  • @idrepublix Dude, you've no idea what you're talking about. 'Gaijin' was the first term used by Japanese to call foreign people, disregarding their race. It was used as a derogatory word by the Japanese. The Japanese have used the term 'gaikokujin' or 'zainichi takokuseki gaikokujin' and other terms to describe foreigners because they themselves know that the term 'gaijin' has some kind of derogatory vibe in it.

  • @BebeYnez My, don't you whities love generalizing. 'The Japanese' used it as the first way to describe foreigners? I'm not surprised - after all, the white discourse about Japan in the War doesn't even limit itself to demonizing all of the IJA as evil - just as whites called the Jap-uns maggots then, they use 'the Japanese' now - like you. (The first descriptions of whites were devil and barbarian, fuckwit, not 'gaijin').'Gaijin' used derogatorily doesn't approach what you whites call us.

  • @idrepublix Asshole. I said I'm not FUCKING WHITE. Dumb fuckwit.

You like playing it dirty, fine. Gaijin doesn't refer to whites only. I think you know that. I know about the term 'jap', and I apologize because I didn't know before that it was offensive during the WW. Now I know and I don't use it obviously. It is considered a racial slur. But gaijin..? not really, it's a derogatory word that has discrimination written all over it. Gaijin isn't even a fucking race, dipshit.

  • @BebeYnez And of course, by 'us', I mean whatever race you whites have decided is the enemy du jour, the NEW FIFTH COLUMN. What's it with you, anyway? You're the dominant race, culture, superpower - yet you simply cannot stop persecuting nonwhites and bombing the fuck out of them. You know what it's like to be afraid all of your kind will be tossed in concentration camps like you fucks did to Japanese Americans, even orphans? 'The Japanese', you say? Fuck off to you and 'The Whites', fuckwit.

  • @idrepublix dude, I'm asian. You fuck off.

  • @BebeYnez Sadly, you appear to think there's a difference between white, and whitified. Asian? What, chink? So the hell what? Who the shit is more whitified than chinks and koreans, who destroyed their own culture in the name of the white man's worthless communist bullshit, or else lapped up their whiteass christianity wholesale? Fuck off, whitified whitie.Worry not, you're right up there with the best of the white shits.

Oh, and thanks for the non-response, bubba.

  • @idrepublix

Wow, your hypocrisy is astounding. You're calling out China & North Korea for adopting the white man's idea of communism? Then where did Japan get democracy from? Are you trying to say Japan isn't whitified? I think I can say all Asian countries have conspicuous Western influences. If you're trying to say Japan is exempt from this, you're extremely stupid.

  • @idrepublix

And from a guy who's clearly upset about racial slurs used by whites, I'm surprised you used the word "chink" which white people use to describe ALL Asians, not just Chinese (yes that includes Japanese people like you).

  • The Asians have always been racists. Those fucking scumbags. Always looking to blame "Whitey" for something aren't you? How about this you bunch of slit eye gooks..COME AND COLLECT YOUR FUCKING ASIAN BUDDIES AND GET THEM THE FUCK OUT OF AMERICA. I'm not usually like this but i get sick and tired of asians playing the victim card when they're probably the most racist.
