Expressing the opinion of an unsatisfactory flavor or sound is not ignorance if the person actually took the time to listen to the music or taste the food. Saying "in my opinion" before every subjective belief would get pretty repetitive after a while too; words like "sucks", "excellent", "mediocre", all of these imply subjective opinions of the speaker. Cake is both delicious to eat and rad to listen to (this is my opinion).

Recently I met a musician who went on and on about how brilliant McCrea's vocals are and having studied them while at University. Short Skirt is much much more diverse in its sound. The chords are not the same, and the vocal inflections are vastly different. there are similarities in the main riff but the groove is completely different in this song then Sweet Jane, and trust me if you look around you can find similar riffs to alot of songs from many different artists however most of them have their own variations to make it unique...and also me as a guitarist I know that you occasionally come up with a riff out of the blue and then happened hear a song on the radio and say "shit mine sounds similar to that".
