I question your statement about a person losing their siddhis when they die. The body stays behind, but I think (a speculation on my behalf), that our qualities will go with us. On a level of consciousness, if you're moved up to a 9 (0 being utterly stupid and 10 being like God), then that will go with you. Your assumption of siddhis staying behind when the body dies is wrong, I think. I totally agree with the rest you say about having to leave things behind and the absolute always being with us

@elisabeth11133 hmm...I doubt I said 'when they die' since I strongly disagree with that. The subtle body retains its insights when it picks up another gross vehicle. But they are not permanent. Not only are they usually lost through re-entrancements and falls from grace but when cosmic dissolution occurs they are all toast no matter what. The thing about junkyism is that even if you find a drug that has a really profound high that lasts a really really long time, the crash is likewise.

True spirituality begins with the ability to discriminate between the eternal and the transient. If what we seek is the transient, then it isn't anything to do with spirituality. It's simply fear or greed, which are related.

That's true, but the question is, to what "degree" are you "playing the game?" And I wouldn't say "we all play the game." Once you know how to not "play the game" you do whats best for yourself and others. You have a sense of what is "truly" right. So yes, the "game" can be played in a way that benefits all not just yourself out of egotistical desires(which there are none in _________ .)

So we can punch our brain until there are no thoughts in there and we are back to the roots of being.

I'm gonna say that alot of this stuff is done because its fun. If people are chasing it for a reason then, yeah it doesn't matter. If all this stuff is fun and gives you some enjoyment then why not? Whats the point of learning to walk if we're just going to die in a moments time? We're just going to get old and wheel chair bound, why bother learning to walk?

@mrkurt13 Perhaps we are unsure of what happens at death and where we go? As such, it is good to be sure of it in this life, as immortality (dying while living) is our birthright. I don't agree that "we already are that", we have to work for it, usually really really hard. Yoga is an an exact science that removes consciousness from the mind-body complex which happens at the time of death anyway, but as I said, we aren't sure of our destination and its nice to know that here and now.

Well what is it you have to work for? If you are going to say enlightenment or realization of God hood I am going to flat out have to disagree and line up with Cash on this one. In my experience, most spiritual practices having to do with realization are simply to lead you to a place of exhaustion, frustration and hopelessness. In that moment of giving up and despair, where you completely stop trying to become anything as it seems futile, you see what was always there.

Yep....and...IMO what this means is that people will be more conscious of the impact we have on one another and the environment.  Personal gain/materialism will no longer be our god. The most important difference will be a lasting peace between/among human beings, after a few years of WWIII. Also, scientifically, we will see massive expansion of space exploration, inner and outer, with many revolutionary discoveries.

With my single eye, I perceive now the exploration. I have managed to ESP myself to Earth's orbit, Mars's surface, Jupiter's atmosphere. All goes. All arises and self liberates. I have imagined being the universe and the atom (not the atom of modern science) at the same time see both. Extremely nondual. Every psychic power is. The egoic experiences of the phenomena will be destroyed yes, though souls R @ 4-5-6D now and for ever. I agree. I accept the done deal.
