Actually in Ancient times Macedonia wasn't Greece. At least not until Alexander came along. And even before then, Alexander was actually a ambassador for the Persian Empire. He only actually tried to unite the two after Xerxes invasion, which by then was the second major invasion of Greece. Macedonians were much closer to the Persians than Greeks. They were a lot more barbaric and so the Greeks didn't like to familiarize themselves with them.

i found that if you just keep your walls downgraded to wooden walls its easier to defend a city. Take your spearmen and put them in a V shape on all the openings that the enemy rams will be opening in the wall, then whatever units arnt in the V's Stack ontop of other spearmen already in the Vs you dont need archers or anything else in the city.

the opening of the V is going to cover the opening in the wall so make sure the V is touching the wall so they run into spears when they come through.

Open the descr_stat with notepad and look for 'playable factions, unlockable factions, nonplayable factions' put all the factions underneath the category 'playable factions' :D
