  • LOVE THIS SONG WOW <3

Wish there were more artists like her

  • Letteralmente stregato!

  • damn girl, niceeeeeeeeee song

  • 16 people who don't know what true good music is

  • She's like a new Laura Nyro. Love!

  • lovely lovely song!!

  • I can't believe this song only has 100,000+ views! It's beautiful and I listen to it once every day. It makes me smile especially on rainy mornings.

  • @bumblebee943045 yeah! and justine bieber songs has millions. this song is way better!

  • beautiful song

    beautiful voice

    beautiful girl

  • One of my favorites. I could listen all day. :)

  • good feelings in this tune ... really into it =)

  • Carol King revisited ...... hope it goes well for her!

  • her voice is timeless, beautiful song

  • IDEAL WOMEN!

  • Sounds like a cross between Carole King and Laura Nyro and she is soooo Beautiful too

  • me and my mom sing this song all the time!!

  • Love her voice...her song reminds me of my parent's style of music. Pure nostalgia. :) Way to go Diane.

  • modern day Carol King.

  • I remember seeing her on Letterman singing this song and bought the cd the next day, great song

  • I love her. <3 Such beautiful music.

  • This song stoped my down spiral. One of my friends Sam Lee Allon died the summer of 2009 and i just couldnt help but remember every single memorie. It hurt so much. I started staying away from school activites and started to just sit in my room and think think think. And when i heard this song it gave me a messege that he cant come back i can love him all i want but it wont wok so all i can do is live. I can still live an love him but that cant stop me from liveing a fulfillin life

  • She totally sounds like Carole King!!! i've never heard of Diane Birch until she (yeah right) asked me to be her fan on a social network site!!! What do you know... SPAM works!!!

  • yep ... modern day Carol King ... maybe too much like Carol King (whom I love) will have to see what her next few songs sound like to see if she is an original - but it's good stuff.

  • I love this song. I listened to this during a break up. And I tell my friends that if they can listen to this without crying, they are over that guy.

  • inkheartforever....your the worst and probably a hipster at its finest

  • The comparisons to Carole King are fair but Diane Birch can definitely hold her own as a singer/songwriter. She is definitely a throwback and we need more of that in today's music.

  • Love this song, amazing!

  • She looks young, but her voice is so mature.

  • just had a revelation as to why i USED to hate this song so much... cuz it was singing my pain/ffffrustration about my always absent man. guess i was repressing... didin't want to look at my-always begging to him-self.

  • i can totally relate to this song now...

  • @kittycrunch456 & i used to hate it too... but she's singing my heart break i finally realized...

  • I love this girl's voice. She sounds like Carole King, who is amazing.

  • cant' stand this song... whiny bitch... if she dosen't want him, then f'n get out already instead of leadin' him on...

  • @gumbess You didn't listen to any of the lyrics at all did you?

  • @trisana13 of course i did... more than i want to. her & this song just gets on my nerve cuz my bf plays this all the time to give me guilt trips... the nerve of him i tell ya. so it's all his fault! lol. ;)

  • great retro voice ... i look forward to her next CD

  • LUV the voice ... many of her songs sound alike ... but she's definitely got it goin on!

  • Love her siren's voice and jazzy beat. She reminds me of how sweet my ex-wife looked when I first met her 30 years ago...

  • Shes amazing

  • She has a little amy whinehouse vibe going !Surprisingly good actually !

  • beautiful feeling

  • Wow, she opened for a Jonas brother? She seems better than them though... Weird.

  • really one of my new fav artists

  • so retro ...and a real musician!

  • Love her style. So 70s. So Perfect.

  • i love her music and THIS SONG! I'm inspired.

  • Loooove Diane!

  • wouldn't have paired them for a concert (nick n diane) but i guess it gave her exposure. very nice vocals!

  • Oh man she iz so gorgeous

  • she was at the nick j concert. boo

  • I love this song. It was this song that helped me realize my boyfriend was trea ting me like crap and I just needed to end it, which I did.

  • @inkheartforever21 - Well good for you honey. That can be a hard thing to do but a necessary one.

  • great video.

  • am i the only one who looked her up because i heard about her on fuse? nice song. makes me feel calm.

  • im glad nick let diane be his opening act for his tour!thank u nick!

  • i love this song so much :) thank you nick for having her on your tour

  • Wow, great song !

  • Imma be honest. This is a really good song.

  • i love her so much <3 (:

  • no wonder i liked it - ahh, because of the 70's taste. heehee.

  • Great song!! It has a kind of 70's sound. Thanks for posting it.

  • I just saw her do this song on a re-run of The Tonight Show with Conan O' Brian, last night. It sounded so amazing and the song (as well as her voice) has this '70s easy listening feel to it that is just so spot on, I actually thought I was listening to a song from that era by the original performer. I love it.

  • Amazing ..... her voice reminds me of Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac

  • too bad she cusses in this song!

  • too bad you're too immature to focus on the song! come on, just let it go. who cares? she used it well.

  • Wow, really.... shes 27 and she said damn. Big deal.

  • yeah, im with you. not everybody likes profanity in songs

  • @whitnshae Oh fuck, I guess I swore too. Grow up kid.

  • @whitnshae

I agree with you, but only to a certain extent. I don't like it when there's cursing in good music either. But if you think about it, she uses the D word sensibly. She's trying to rhymn with man. I'm just happy it's not the S word or the F word. Plus I except minor curse words like Damn or Hell in good music, as long as they're being used sensibly, and not just for the heck of it. That's just my opinion. Hope I didn't offend you, or anyone else.

    God Bless.

  • seems like an odd combo -Diane and Nick - but I guess she will get a new audience - they are both real musicians and talented

  • i liked the combo, it was like a twist idk haha i liked it though and she was awesome! :)

  • I love this music! I really need to buy her album. also, Nick Jonas is not a poser at all. Not everyone has to (or will) like the type of music he makes, but he indeed is a talented artist. no one likes a music snob.

  • @nonmeaculpa

Firstly, your opinion of musicians means nothing unless you yourself are one.

Secondly, you gotta get publicity where you can when you're starting out. Unless you want to pay Diane's bills for her, I'd best keep my mouth shut about how she increases awareness of her music (and thus, income). Music is a hard, hard, hard, hard business to break into.. There's TONS of talented people and you have to make yourself stand out as best you can.

  • i love her voice and music

i'm glad she was on tour with nick or else i would've never known about her

    she's so nice too =)

  • This sounds exactly like Carol King from the 70's

She's got the voice down to a T.

Same chord progressions, everything. too young to really sound that way. Look forward to hearing who she becomes when she finds her own true voice.

  • So excited to see her on the NJ&TA tour tonight! This is such a great song and I can't wait to see her perform it live. Hopefully, everyone will pay attention.

  • yeah i saw her last night too i'd never heard of her but she's very talented.

  • The first time Jimi Hendrix toured in America, he opened for the Monkees! That was a tour completely wasted. 14 year old girls came to see the Monkees, they didn't care about Hendrix.

She's not Hendrix, but it kind of reminds me of that tour.

  • Yeah, I saw that she's going to be in Denver this month and was thinking, "Oh Great!"... then I saw that she was opening for Nick Jonas, and said , well, maybe next time. Nick f*g Jonas, what a*hole set that up!?

  • I saw her with NJ&TA a few days ago, and she sounds so much better live. I heard this song on youtube and I hated it but hearing her voice and her music live, trust me you will love her! (I felt bad for her though cause when she was performing, NO ONE was standing up for her)

  • did u go to the one in nashville? i noticed no one was standing up too...i wanted to but i didn't wanna be the only one and i felt bad for NOT standing up :/

  • @XLuvsJonasBrothersX

On behalf of all the concert -goers of the world, thanks for NOT standing up. There's NOTHING worse than paying good money for a SEAT and having the knucklehead in front of you STAND UP and ruin the entire show.

  • i agree with you. i was SO glad the little girls didnt know who diane birch was.

  • She is rly good! i cant wait to see her in concert! her voice is so powerful and rly makes you want to listen.

  • i met her the other day! shes amazing shes really nice :D

  • how old is she!

  • I think she's turning... 27... this year?

im not sure though... i'm realy tired so my math might be off. lol

  • she really seems talented but she deffinatley will NOT out shine nick he is amazing she is talented but not more then him soory to dissapoint all u jonas haters :)

  • Lol I don't think she'll outshine him either, no offense or anything but Nick Jonas fans usually consist of adolescent teenage girls , and most of them don't appreciate good music (Not saying ALL, just some are idiots) and they're not interested in seeing some girl sing soul music. Lol, not trying to be mean, I'm just saying, not a jonas hater or anything.

  • i know what you're saying. I'd never heard of her until I went to a Nick Jonas show, but I really like her. She's very talented and her music is sooo good.

  • YA! i completley agree we go to see the kind of music we like. I don;'t just listen to pop music but i honestly dont know if im goiing to like seeing her. not because shes bad but just because its not my type of music. :)

  • 21 days till i see her!!!! with NJ&TA

  • umm people are gonna rag me for this but i dont really like her. but i get to see her tonight at the nick jonas and the administration concert so i might change my mind

  • 18 days until i see her & NJ&TA! (:

  • She is REALLY good. I can't wait to see her on the 24th with NJ&&TA

  • YEAh she is , her voice incredible, i can't wait to see her with NJ&TA either this weekend:)

  • I could care less if she was touring with the jonas brothers or not. She's THAT good, I want to see her.

  • That voice comes out of that girl!(in a good way)

She is like so tiny and has a HUGE voice.

  • she reminds me of carole king, its a good thing

  • i agree, she does sound like carole king.

  • i recommend you guys get this album its awesome

  • @ hadhock : because she's got soul!!

  • For some reason this song reminds me of a song from the 70's. Idk why...

  • Comment removed

  • Correction: She is not touring with the Jonas Brothers. Just Nick Jonas and his solo tour.

  • luv her unique interesting voice - not like so many of the girl singer/song writers that all sound alike

  • I like this song; I also saw her on "The Tonight Show." & this cutie kinda looks like Aubrey Plaza on "Parks & Recreation."

  • I like her!

  • im recently getting into her music ALOT! shes great! im seeing her live with nick jonas and the administration :D

  • The Jonas Brothers are the reason why I'm NOT seeing her.

  • maybe she can do my song,

That's Where the Money Is' it is a blues/pop song, that comes with it's own movie script for a 90 minute "chick flick"

    bt

  • wow, i digg it... a lot. i'm excited to see her live

  • So glad she doesn't suck. Didn't want to have to sit through a crappy singer opening for Nick. She's amazing. Saw her on Conan and it was really, really great.

  • Saw her on Conan last week. I liked the song so much I bought the CD.

  • the sister is BAD.sounds almost like arethea in her young days.clear lycrics with a sexyslur.can't

miss with this one.make sure to keep the writer and her style and she's on her way to stardom.

  • Love her voice so jazzey' this sister is nice

  • I sent this song 2 my boyfriend!!!!!!

  • i swear her voice is perfect for a carole king cover. she is great

  • @imbored2dayok I agree completely!

  • she sounds great ..

and she is pretty too .

    I am buying this CD

  • Comment removed

  • shes amazing!

  • Seen her on Conan Obrien.Real nice performance.

  • love everything about this

  • can't believe she didn't get a grammy nom

  • Can a woman really go walking around a dimly lit world by herself to introspect and wander in her mind?I don't think so.I know that this is just a video, but I would love to be able to take poetic,if gloomy, walks around at magical hours.Ain't gonna happen.Just thinkin".

  • this is REAL talent

  • wow she's really cool

    yeah @katloveslife she does remind

    me of Carole King (:

  • Never heard of her before. But will be seeing her in concert January 9th (:

  • okay!

  • why are all those jonas-obsessive fans coming over here??...

this is real talent... voice straight from the soul. Go back to disney, shittt..

  • Because we can. Plus, we just want to get an idea of what Nick's song is going to sound like with her.

She's good. Her voice reminds me a little of the Beegees, though. That's the only thing I don't like. Other than that, I think she's great.

  • BAD? to sound like the BeeGees? Wow .....tweens. Her voice doesn't sound like the them at all, but if she did that would be a compliment but would change her sound completely.

  • I don't have great memory, but I don't recall saying it's bad. I think the BeeGees are just fine. I just don't prefer their music, but it's fine with me. Anyway, I hear a slight tinge of BeeGees in her voice, but if you don't hear, then okay.

  • she sounds nothing like the Bee Gees...And the Gibb brothers sound has inspired countless musicians and been sampled so many times by today's artists, you might be surprised...you may actually LOVE the Bee Gees, their sound is just covered up by 2000's dribble.

  • Yeah, like I said, the BeeGees aren't bad. They just aren't the music I prefer. I was raised listening to all kinds of music, and I like listening to all kinds.

  • @UntouchedCullen it's because she's going on tour with nick jonas... i think in january? i don't know. but she'll definitely outshine him. god.

  • @alexandragates, she definitely will outshine him.

  • You know what. Why the hell are you so damn closeminded that you have to incorporate who Nick is and his beautiful music with Disney? They dont make his music he does!!!And they dont need you paying attention to them, so dont talk shit cause you dont know anything. Shes gonna get big cause of this boy, so be fucking thankful, I have never heard of her, now whes gonna have tons more fans. SO chill out

  • thank you!!!! I never even heard of her until I heard that she was opening for Nick. He does write all of his own music and people (with thick-skulls) need to get that through their heads. He is amazing. Song writing he is genius. Because of him she will be big. Get over it.

  • yea she seems like a strange act to open for JONAS BROTHERS, but i'm pretty sure that nick's new sound is going to be a big departure from that. i believe that his music is going to be more like this. =)

  • Love it! Listen to it at least 5 times a day.

  • Love the song! It's stuck in my head all darn day! Have to come home from work and listen to it many times

  • saw her in concert when she opened for james morrison. her songs aren't great and her voice is not that special. very dull. not excited for her. at all.

  • she reminds me of Carole King, in a way.

    her style.

my Mom will like her if my Mom joins me at the Nick Jonas & The Admnistration show :).

  • she's opening for nick?

    hmmm. okay cool.

    lmao,

  • I know, I can't wait to see what's up with that. I just know it's gonna be great, though.

  • opening up for nick.... not a fan. =/

  • cant wait to see her and nick on tour in january :]

  • i dont see how nick and her are working together. But im glad that ppl arent afriad to share music no mattew what style or genre :D

  • yeah i was thinking the same thing until i realized that Nick said his album was more heart and soul but who knows LOL

  • So refreshing. The stuff on the radio is ick.

    <3

  • i was wondering if id see nick jonas comments when i got here :) DC BABAY!

  • hmm interesting combo with nick jonas

  • ths girl is opening up for nick jonas on tour..

    :/

  • What a refreshing, yet classic "80s" kind-of-sound Diane Birch has. I love this entire album. Great vid.

  • God Bless this lady;)

  • My song. Totally my song

  • See it artist like these that deserve grammies yet people like Brittany spears get them. Bullshit.

  • Great song has really helped my complete a long journey.

  • I heard this song on Vh1 one day and every since then I have liked this song. Good luck on your music Diane Birch! I hope to hear more good songs from you in the future.

  • beautiful

  • omg sing it girl

  • I will be your man Diane!

  • This is good, real music...makes me feel great to hear this song

  • @DeeDoll3o yey yep

  • I am in love with Diane Birch. She is so beautiful.

  • Where are all these white girls getting these voices from. :) Amazing!!

  • her voice remindes me of Sia

  • Love the song.

  • has a 60s vibe

  • Cross between Carole King and Carly Simon. AWESOME singer.

  • exactly what i thought

  • What an artist she is. You think she sounds so familiar, but she's one of kind.

I am so hooked, I'm already anticipating her next album release, I've just about worn this one out. Just something about her that goes right to the soul and stays with you
