I agree with you, but only to a certain extent. I don't like it when there's cursing in good music either. But if you think about it, she uses the D word sensibly. She's trying to rhymn with man. I'm just happy it's not the S word or the F word. Plus I except minor curse words like Damn or Hell in good music, as long as they're being used sensibly, and not just for the heck of it. Firstly, your opinion of musicians means nothing unless you yourself are one.

Secondly, you gotta get publicity where you can when you're starting out. Unless you want to pay Diane's bills for her, I'd best keep my mouth shut about how she increases awareness of her music (and thus, income). Music is a hard, hard, hard, hard business to break into.. There's TONS of talented people and you have to make yourself stand out as best you can.
