I also used to play consoles and call of duty, but after MW2 I quit, bought a PC and didnt even have the intention of becoming a competitve CSS player. I used to also think that css was retarded and took no skill, but it's the most intense FPS ever. It has a HUGE skill ceiling and doesn't take 2 hours of playing to become even remotely good. It took me 1000 hours and I'm still not even that good. Anyways, point is that COD is a dumbed down FPS... and it always has been.

I will honestly say, i am one of those COD kids that came into css thinking i was going to be good. but hell i was wrong. i thought if you were good at cs or css you were god. and even today after playing it for 2 years now, im still not good. CS is the defenition on a game with good gameplay and good physics in the game. I know it isnt the game with best graphics, but common.. Its made in 1998 and 2004 ffs... I play css and a little cod when im bored and I can tell you that i find playing public on both games very easy, but when it comes to matches, css is superior for its gameplay and high level skill.
