You know this happened 3 years ago? In any case, it wasn't ME who ninja'd, I was just the bystander. I won't defend the decision but...the shaman rolled before the raid leader put it up for roll. The mage foolishly rolled due to confusion. The item was never up for roll, and it was ultimately a giant miscommunication.

Had the Shaman stayed, he'd have gotten the Tier 4 helm that he desperately wanted, because we had to D/E it because no one else wanted it.

Now not being there I don't know what happened but the part that really gets to me is that it seems that the trinket was actually put up for rolls. Now if I was this shaman and I had won the roll and then saw it given to the mage. yeah I would say something along the lines of "why the fuck did you give it to that guy!?" and then the raid leader actually saying "I told the mage he could have it from the begining." If that really was the case, why then was it put up for rolls?
