Hi Katie! I'm thinking about getting a new fragrance for my fall/winter collection, but I'm having a hard time deciding. I like Chanel - Egoiste, but I'm considering Givenchy - Very Irresistible for Men and Hermès - Terre d'Hermès parfum as well, would you recommend these?
Great reviews thanks! I love the original Égoiste as well! I remember owning and wearing it regularly. On another note (pun intended), I wonder what your take is on Encre Noire for men? Thanks
@XXXkisssssXXX Keep fragrances away from heat/light/humidity, and they'll last for years - up to ten for some, if not more. Otherwise, they'll turn/lose power, even smell rancid/sour after 2 years.
Katie, I love your reviews and I think you should be knighted for it by our British Queen, lol. Ahhh... Egoiste, such an underrated CHANEL Classic. I think of it as a spiced, aromatic plum compote, that you make yourself at home on the stove with plenty of clover (carnation), cinnamon, bergamotte, and that purple-ness deep plum component that I cannot get enough of. Hard to find these days but I also love the even more sophisticated "Bois des Iles" (which is sinfully expensive)
I am so impressed with your video & I want to highlight a point you mentioned that I've practiced though never heard....until now. I wear men's cologne with a hint of my wife's PERFUME! I get numerous compliments but never...ever tell what I am wearing.
There is no question, you love and have a full appreciation for scent, aroma and smell...Thanks
I know that it's not fall but I'm thinking about Chanel Allure... Can you please please pretty pretty please s'il te plaît do a review on that one, dear Katie? :)
i just watched this review, i am glad you reviewed it..was searching for something new, maybe i will just stay with egoiste.. it is a wonderful fragrance.. i did not realize it was that old.. i like that. something that maintains it's integrity over the years...
I have just fallen in love with L de Lolita Lempicka and was wondering if Lolita Lempicka original is similar? Also do you have any suggestions of parfums that are similar to L de LL? Thanks =D
@TheStyleNurse Orange-vanilla L is different to Lolita Lempicka, which is licorice/vanilla/violet. For an amazing orange-vanilla perfume, try Givenchy Organza Indecence. I think you'll love that. Also investigate Britney Spears Hidden Fantasy.
@KatiePuckrikSmells Thanks. So I tried Lolita Lempicka and I realize that it smells like when you blow up a floaty for the pool and it even gives me that same headache to boot. Some note in that perfume just doesn't sit well with me. I guess it's just misunderstood.
Thank you for reviewing Egoïste, what a fragrance! I remember getting the aftershave in the early 90's and thinking it was somewhere between marzipan and chai latte, and that a man should never wear this, then comments from the ladies made me re-think my Azzaro phase...
Now it smells diifferent, more rosewood, even carnation. That lovely sandalwood cinnamon drydown always mystifies: once a big Irish guy at the pub said to me "I dont love you or anything, but you smell smashing". Thanks again!
oh my gosh, i just love you. i have learned tons from your videos and i just adore listening. i live in a small town and its so hard to get anyyyyy perfume or what i would chooose if i was gonna go out looking!....thank you :)
@robinmosesnailart So glad to hear my insatiable perfume quest has helped you get your head around all the scented possibilities out there. There are lots of great online shops where you can buy samples of hard-to-find fumes: theperfumedcourt, luckyscent, aedes, etc....
@KatiePuckrikSmells katie, you are just fantastic...your personality shines brighter than the notes of the perfume! i love watching your reactions and i smell EXACTLY what you are saying when you say it 'with the perfumes i have smelled' i have gone from 'princess' to 'miller harris oriental!!!' (parfum) and you just dont know until you learn and KNOW and you, are like a diamond of information that keeps me so happy! you calm me and inspire me to paint...i know its weird, but...arent we all! xo!
@robinmosesnailart Well, that's a lovely tribute - thank you! Discovering perfume is like learning about any new subject that interests you: the more you learn, the more you want to know, and the broader your tastes get. Same goes for music, art, food, fashion, everything!
Yes. I just got a sample in the mail yesterday, and my friend who loves LL says that this is her new fav. The anise seed/licorice-ness is so good, and it gives off a sexy mysterious vibe. I'm new to the fragrance world, and I can't stop watching your vids! So funny and interesting.. I'm smelling every scent I can get my hands on now!
I'm obsessed with white, almost bridal, florals this fall. I've been wearing Bulgari's Voile de Jasmin (EDT). It's a very agreeable, feminine, and non-offensive scent, but it doesn't last as long as I would like. I've always preferred heavier men's colognes, so this is a nice change of pace for me. Is anyone else sick of chypres and florientals being marketed as super-super-sexy scents? I swear, I smelled Gucci Guilty and thought of my grandmother's ancient perfumes sitting on her dresser!
@theeyeoftheday There is a gorgeous white floral I'm obsessed with at the mo - Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphea. It is incredibly spring-y and joyful, and I love how the honey makes it borderline purrr-OW!
I like the Lolita Lempicka, but it's too vanilla'y' for me. Is there anything you can suggest that is similar to LL, but won't make me smell like a sugar cookie?
I just recently subscribed to your channel after reading nurberxo's Beautylish Interview. I am new to wearing perfume and am loving your review's and recommendations. My first and only bottle of perfume thus far is DKNY Be Delicious. I loved it for summer but, was looking for a scent more fall/winter appropriate. I can't wait to smell these ones. Thank you.
@buttercupsnailbox Thanks for letting me know about Nur's shout-out. I'm thinking you should give Missoni and Lolita Lempicka L a smell - you might like those.
@KatiePuckrikSmells I finally had a chance to smell Lolita Lempicka L the other day and instantly fell in love with it and bought it. Thank you so much for recommending it to me. I can't wait to smell Missoni.
Any exposure to Clive Christian 'C' in your travels? First thoughts were Black Cashmere has an older brother... after the dry down - more like dusty saddles put away wet?
I love your reviews Katie but the pronunciation of the name Lempicka is not LEMPEEKA it's LEMPEETSKA. The founder of the brand Josiane Maryse Pividal has named it after a painter Tamara de Lempicka from Poland :)
@catlikegreeneyes I didn't know that the artist's name was pronounced that way - ya learn something new every day! However, the perfume brand is popularly (mis)pronounced the way I did it - at least in English-speaking countries.
@KatiePuckrikSmells in our country is common to pronounce Levi's jeans LEVEES instead of LEEVAHYS :) so it looks like every country is messing up correct pronunciation.
By the way, I was surprised to hear that L.N. is your current favourite chez Monsieur Kurkdjian, I thought it was the gorgeous and ambiguous Absolue Pour le Soir ;)
@KatiePuckrikSmells Katie (by the way, if speaking of slavic surnames, you're my namesake), what can you say about Vero Kern's perfumes (Rubj, Onda, Kiki), have you already had an opportunity to smell them ? I've tried only rubj till now and it's a beautiful work. That would be interesting to hear your opinion about all the three.
My autumn perfumes are: Tresor (Lancome), Comme des Garcons-2, Perles de Lalique, Arabie (Lutens), Narciso Rodriguez for Her, White Aoud (Montale).
That's funny: I don't smell this rubber note in Lumiere Noire pour femme that you speak of (however I find it a little bit too sweet). It is a very beautiful rose perfume that enters for me in the line of rose/wood-rose/patchouli fragrances like Noir de Noir (I think, my favorite of T.F.) and Ambre Nuit.
@CestmoiNicole You and I are drawn to a lot of the same perfumes! I love TF Noir de Noir, too - I think it's also my fave from the line (along with Neroli Portofino, its tonal opposite!).
@Athena1573 Try Penhaligons Elisabethan Rose, Yosh Sottile, Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose, Annick Goutal Rose Absolute. All of those are gorgeous rose soliflores.
Egoiste, Cologne Concentree. Tough to find and a little pricey but smells like and EDP version of the regular Egoiste. Its funny too bc the regular Egoiste is pretty strong. The Concentree just smells much richer and deeper and lasts forever.
I've really taken to Shalimar by Guerlain. It has a warmth to it that has me happy all day. And I'm finally starting to see what you mean by how the smell changes depending on who wears it.
@Vaciito I also find that my own acceptance of individual perfumes can change over time, too. I can revisit a fragrance I'd written off a year earlier, and find that I now like it - or a least get it.
What scents do you wear when you are sick? I tried to wear Bvlgari Black this weekend with a stuffed nose and it smelled like a nauseating vanilla mess. Which is sad, because I usually love it.
@EffervescentFire If I can't smell it, I don't wear it! Because when it come right down to it, I wear gorgeous scents mostly for my own enjoyment: to uplift my spirit, to feel luscious, to be as "me" as I can be. And if I can't smell it, where's the fun in that? Plus, it's hard to monitor how much you're smelling up the joint if your nose isn't working.
@KatiePuckrikSmells I've been favoring Fergie's Outspoken lately but mark's Earth is one of my all time favorites. Very fresh, mossy, green fragrance. You should give it a try!
@KatiePuckrikSmells 20 years , she like d&g 18 la lune , NR for her edt , chanel coco modmazel , v&r flowerbomb , dior pure poisin , montale rose musc
This sunday I was thinking what perfume was the right for this season, so this fall I will follow your advice, I'll try Lolita Lempicka It smells so good! Thank you!
If I could I will use Bazar from Christian Lacroix, but I can't find it anywhere =(
It's a great question, in fact. An easy way to get a handle on basic perfume ingredients is to smell the single-note essential oils at shops like Whole Foods. And basic cooking spices like cardamom, cumin, coriander, saffron, black pepper, etc are major characters in perfumes, and worth familiarizing yourself with.
There are probably any number of perfume ingredient kits out there, but the one I have & find really helpful is the Perfumery Notes Kit from perfumersapprentice dot c o m
Right now I am almost down to my last spray of Miss Dior Cherie eau de parfum that I bought last spring, so now I'm thinking about my next everyday perfume,I love Miss Dior Cherie so I feel like repurchasing again but at the same time I want to wear something sexier and muskier like Tom Ford's Black Orchid - I'm undecided, any suggestions?
Katie, please think about reviewing something from Carthusia. I bought Fiori de Capri today. These are from Capri. If you haven't heard of them, you might find something new and beautiful. I did not see it at the Scent Bar. Maybe somewhere else near you.
this fall I think I will be wearing Private Collection, and now I am wearing it and Coco by Chanel(the black one),and Lair de Temp(hated it already although I loved wearing it in France this summer!!!!). Flower Party by Eves Rocher is great this time. But anyway, I am in the boring era, when you get sick of any perfume and try to open a new bottle from the store to feel the same thing and return back again to the previous one.One of those is Deci Dela by Nina Ricci,I used it 4 times, and hated it,
This may sound silly, but can you possibly make a video on how you get your perfumes to last the longest? As in, where and how to spray it to make it last longest on your person?
Katie are you loosing weight? If you are you might want to slow up your head is looking big and I went back and looked at older videos Cause I never noticed it before. You look cuter with the chipmunk cheeks, just my opinion.
@mohogany77 It could well be that you're processing sandalwood as "olive oil". Sandalwood has a soft, animalic/herbal quality that can also read to me as slightly gasoline-y.
@resourcefulcrafts When it comes to what I like to wear personally, my main requirement is just that I love how it smells on me. I'm not too bothered if it doesn't last forever - I'll just apply it more regularly. Some ingredients and compositions just don't have the built-in staying power of others.
Having said that, certain scents are famous for longevity: the Muglers, Chanel Coromandel, Stella, the Dior Poisons, the Montale and Amouage lines...
@Teewriter Well, Lumiere Noire pour Femme isn't birchy/tarry, it's definitely rubbery to me. Now I'm wondering if it's the indoles from the jasmine that's also swimming around in there.
I adore Todd Oldham's perfume (his only one I think). It's my go-to fall scent because it's a little heavy, but I'll wear that bad boy year round! Unfortunately it has been discontinued, so I've had to stock up on it...sigh
Katie, if you're familiar with it, could you recommend a similar scent or one you think I'd like...in case that day comes when I can't get my hands on my beloved Todd? Thanks =)
@ElysianStar I've not smelled Todd O, but those who love it compare it to Guerlain Mitsouko and the original Prada perfume, so you could sniff those and see what you think...
today I'm wearing Angel... unusual for me but I had a craving for it today. My most worn for this fall is Wonderwood and Daphne by CDG, also I've been wearing Inez, Boomslang, and Snake Oil by Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. I love them all. I guess besides Wonderwood, I'm on a deep vanillic trend this fall.
mmmmm Lolita Lempicka! My favourite fem :) A girl actually complimented me on it once and said "i wish i could wear that!" and i said.." oh but you can! its womens!" haha.. then she made fun of me ;)
i HAVE to try Diptyque L'Eau Trois!!!!!! sounds FANTASTIC!
I've been wearing Cuir de Lancome and Balmain Jolie Madame. I guess I'm craving leather and violets this fall. Lolita Lempicka has always been a long time fave. I've been wearing it now for about a decade and never get tired of it.
Hello Katie! Great video as always, I really enjoyed watching.
Lolita Lempicka is one of my all-time favorites. I'm wearing the Eau de Toilette version right now, since it's spring here in Brazil and the weather is warm! =)
Now I'm interested in L'Eau Trois, but I don't even want to think about the price tag!
oh katie! u threw that lolita lempicka in there just for me.. hehe! u know thats my fave and im always talking about it! hahaa.. can you do a video on...givenchy very irresistable, guess gold, (speaking of guess perfume..do you remember the original guess perfume,in the twisted bottle, sorta looked like a regular rectangel bottle but looked like someone twisted it! that onme was sooogood) anywho..and also my alltime fave old lady scent white diamonds! dont judge! hahahaa
I wear Bvlgari au the blanc. I love it so much. I pretty much wear it year-round. I justify it because of the floral (spring-summer) and the musk woodsy (fall-winter) When I do branch out I always tend to come back to Bvlgari.
I have joyfully put my summer fresh/fruity/floral away and pulled out my beloved Poison for the cool weather. Its murky, dark, spicy, syrupy goodness is reminiscent of harvest fruits and spices that will be soon be made into decadent desserts and beverages!
@Jewelrycreator It is nice to make that connection between your personal elixir and the goodies you will be soon be cramming in your cakehole...so to speak.
@marthithella You could say "sophisticated", or you could say "fume nerd", haha! I do seek out a lot of niche perfumes from specialist shops like Scent Bar (luckyscent online) or Barneys in the US, Les Senteurs or Liberty in the UK.
I agree that the cold weather is perfect for those nummy gourmands.
HI Katie. TheDukeOfQueens here, im wearing Grey Vetiver right now, great stuff. I know Platinum Egoist is common but whats wrong with that! i was given it by mistake when i asked for the original, sometimes i tire of olfactory sophistication and like to smell a little cheap and common, in a nice way of course! This week i purchased Eau Sauvage, kinda related to Grey Vetiver, less vetiver and a little dusty floralness, good stuff, still reach for the Bulgari Black when i need a comfort scent.
I love Chanel Mademoiselle, Dolce and Gabbana (the original one with red top), Givenchy Very Irresistible Sensual for fall/Winter. I loved the Doulton by Royal Doulton for the day, but sadly it was discontinued a few years ago. I am looking for one to replace it, not having any luck. I do like the D&G #3 but not sure yet! Thanks for your reviews, always fun to watch!
I'd be really interested in trying Lumière Noire Pour Femme - with narcissus as "the flower with friskiness" and cumin as the sweaty spice, I gotta try me some of this!! :)
i'm sporting The Brun by Brosseau. very very nice dry down. Coincidently, i'm looknig for a rose scent so thank you for mentioning egoiste. i've tried cannabis rose, red rose by jo malone, kinda love both. how would you compare those two? i have yet to try FM une rose and le labo rose 31.
@handelviola Fresh Cannabis Rose is relatively fresh with lemon and a bit of patchouli. You can watch my review of it on this channel. Jo Malone Red Rose is a very straight-ahead, rosey red rose.
In addition to mentioning Frédéric Malle Une Rose in my perfume collection vids, I review it on my website (visit by clicking "website" on this channel's main page), and it is a very dense, winey rose with an earthy base. Le Labo Rose 31 is a sheerer rose that's more about the spice in the composition.
I wear Lolita Lempika. I found it on sale at Ross last year and it reminded me of my mother's Shalimar (but with a kick) so I bought it and use it more then my other perfumes.
egoist sounds like something I'd love..the rose and sandalwood. I'm in love with the lanvin rumeur lotion (hate the liquid..too old for me and ew) but I only bought the lotion so it doesnt matter. anyway, the lotion heats up on my skin and smells so rose-y, yet a sophisticated spicy, milky rose and I always have to buy more online (can't find it in stores). lasts longer than any perfume I've tried..sticks for hours! hearing egoist be described as a milky spicy rose has me excited!! must smell :)
@911ness That's funny - there are certain perfumes that I prefer wearing in the lotion version because the perfume version is too intense. Stella works better for me in the body lotion (though I'm crazy about Stella Rose Absolute, so go figure), and same for Frédéric Malle Carnal Flower body butter.
Loved this review! I don't have any of the fumes that you've described and now I want to sniff them all! For fall I like: 10 Corso Como, Chanel CoCo, Lorenzo Villoresi Incenzi, Les Neirides Patchouli Antique and others
it would be cool if you could talk about the new juicy couture perfume Peace, Love, and Juicy Couture. i have been thinking about getting it but im not sure if i will like it
Thank you, Katie! Love to see what you've chosen for the season. I love Annick Goutal Madragore, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Annick Goutal Les Nuits d'Hadrien. Like you...I love me some sandalwood. Not to mention spice and amber. All warm yummy scents to me. You've given me lots of food for thought, as always... Thanks again, Katie!
J'ador L'or is my New favorite. I don't know if you have reviewed it yet but you should!

I'm having a little nostalgic flirtation with Eden at the moment, which feels very cosy for cold weather.
I'm really looking for a parfum alternative to the delicious classic 'Fidji' though (Guy Laroche), which is now discontinued *cry*

@mebirdo I never had the opportunity to try Fidji. And now, tears because it's too late.

CestmoiNicole 1 year ago
@CestmoiNicole I've only tried Onda, and I love its rich barnyard depth. So intense!
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
My autumn perfumes are: Tresor (Lancome), Comme des Garcons-2, Perles de Lalique, Arabie (Lutens), Narciso Rodriguez for Her, White Aoud (Montale).
That's funny: I don't smell this rubber note in Lumiere Noire pour femme that you speak of (however I find it a little bit too sweet). It is a very beautiful rose perfume that enters for me in the line of rose/wood-rose/patchouli fragrances like Noir de Noir (I think, my favorite of T.F.) and Ambre Nuit.
CestmoiNicole 1 year ago
@CestmoiNicole You and I are drawn to a lot of the same perfumes! I love TF Noir de Noir, too - I think it's also my fave from the line (along with Neroli Portofino, its tonal opposite!).
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
Can you recommend a perfume to me that smells truly of rose? I always find 'rose' perfumes but they never actually smell like a rose.
Athena1573 1 year ago
@Athena1573 Try Penhaligons Elisabethan Rose, Yosh Sottile, Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose, Annick Goutal Rose Absolute. All of those are gorgeous rose soliflores.

Egoiste, Cologne Concentree. Tough to find and a little pricey but smells like and EDP version of the regular Egoiste. Its funny too bc the regular Egoiste is pretty strong. The Concentree just smells much richer and deeper and lasts forever.
danielfblackert 1 year ago
@danielfblackert Haven't encountered the Concentree. And like you say, it's not like the original Egoiste is shy, volume-wise.

I've really taken to Shalimar by Guerlain. It has a warmth to it that has me happy all day. And I'm finally starting to see what you mean by how the smell changes depending on who wears it.
Vaciito 1 year ago
@Vaciito I also find that my own acceptance of individual perfumes can change over time, too. I can revisit a fragrance I'd written off a year earlier, and find that I now like it - or a least get it.
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
What scents do you wear when you are sick? I tried to wear Bvlgari Black this weekend with a stuffed nose and it smelled like a nauseating vanilla mess. Which is sad, because I usually love it.
EffervescentFire 1 year ago
@EffervescentFire If I can't smell it, I don't wear it! Because when it come right down to it, I wear gorgeous scents mostly for my own enjoyment: to uplift my spirit, to feel luscious, to be as "me" as I can be. And if I can't smell it, where's the fun in that? Plus, it's hard to monitor how much you're smelling up the joint if your nose isn't working.

There are probably any number of perfume ingredient kits out there, but the one I have & find really helpful is the Perfumery Notes Kit from perfumersapprentice dot c o m

this fall I think I will be wearing Private Collection, and now I am wearing it and Coco by Chanel(the black one),and Lair de Temp(hated it already although I loved wearing it in France this summer!!!!). Flower Party by Eves Rocher is great this time. But anyway, I am in the boring era, when you get sick of any perfume and try to open a new bottle from the store to feel the same thing and return back again to the previous one.One of those is Deci Dela by Nina Ricci,I used it 4 times, and hated it,

ok, Katie...here we go, my decant purchase for this fall...
Angelique Encens, Black Cashmere, Caravelle Epicee, Angelique Noire, Spiriteuse Double Vanille, Tea for Two, POTL Parfum, SL Chergui, SL Fumerie Turque, TF Tobacco Vanille, TF Bois Morocaine.
that'll hold me.

Thanks for the reviews! Could you please review Valentino's Rock N Rose Couture?
louise7401 1 year ago
@mohogany77 It could well be that you're processing sandalwood as "olive oil". Sandalwood has a soft, animalic/herbal quality that can also read to me as slightly gasoline-y.
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
@resourcefulcrafts When it comes to what I like to wear personally, my main requirement is just that I love how it smells on me. I'm not too bothered if it doesn't last forever - I'll just apply it more regularly. Some ingredients and compositions just don't have the built-in staying power of others.
Having said that, certain scents are famous for longevity: the Muglers, Chanel Coromandel, Stella, the Dior Poisons, the Montale and Amouage lines...
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
rubber? Hmmm. Could it be birch? I taste rubber when I take aspirin (made from birch). Although birch does not smell like rubber on its own.
I simply cant' find a frgrance after trying for months so I'm back to my Angel, but not every day.
Teewriter 1 year ago
@Teewriter Well, Lumiere Noire pour Femme isn't birchy/tarry, it's definitely rubbery to me. Now I'm wondering if it's the indoles from the jasmine that's also swimming around in there.
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
I adore Todd Oldham's perfume (his only one I think). It's my go-to fall scent because it's a little heavy, but I'll wear that bad boy year round! Unfortunately it has been discontinued, so I've had to stock up on it...sigh
Katie, if you're familiar with it, could you recommend a similar scent or one you think I'd like...in case that day comes when I can't get my hands on my beloved Todd? Thanks =)

I wear Bvlgari au the blanc. I love it so much. I pretty much wear it year-round. I justify it because of the floral (spring-summer) and the musk woodsy (fall-winter) When I do branch out I always tend to come back to Bvlgari.
margiealex8 1 year ago
@margiealex8 Certain perfumes have an anytime, anywhere, one size fits all quality that makes choosing what to wear easy.
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
I have joyfully put my summer fresh/fruity/floral away and pulled out my beloved Poison for the cool weather. Its murky, dark, spicy, syrupy goodness is reminiscent of harvest fruits and spices that will be soon be made into decadent desserts and beverages!

@Jewelrycreator It is nice to make that connection between your personal elixir and the goodies you will be soon be cramming in your cakehole...so to speak.
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago
Your tastes are way too sophisticated for me, lol. Where do you even find these perfumes?
My favorites for fall/winter are Burberry Brit, Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb/BBW Sensual Amber, and anything heavy on vanilla.
marthithella 1 year ago

NebulousWhisp 1 year ago
@NebulousWhisp Eau Sauvage is marvelous! And have you investigated Diorella, another Dior majesty closely related to Eau Sauvage?

Wow, now I feel even more pressure to have a 'fall' fragrance.
I pretty much wear what I want, when I want. In Texas there is a cheesy saying. If you don't like the weather in Texas, wait a minute.
It's still a little early here, but I do have perfumes I've been waiting to wear. I need to think about it.

I do like the D&G #3 but not sure yet! i'm sporting The Brun by Brosseau. very very nice dry down. Coincidently, i'm looknig for a rose scent so thank you for mentioning egoiste. i've tried cannabis rose, red rose by jo malone, kinda love both. how would you compare those two? i have yet to try FM une rose and le labo rose 31.
handelviola 1 year ago
@handelviola Fresh Cannabis Rose is relatively fresh with lemon and a bit of patchouli. You can watch my review of it on this channel. Jo Malone Red Rose is a very straight-ahead, rosey red rose.
In addition to mentioning Frédéric Malle Une Rose in my perfume collection vids, I review it on my website (visit by clicking "website" on this channel's main page), and it is a very dense, winey rose with an earthy base. Le Labo Rose 31 is a sheerer rose that's more about the spice in the composition.
KatiePuckrikSmells 1 year ago

egoist sounds like something I'd love..the rose and sandalwood.
911ness 1 year ago
@911ness That's funny - there are certain perfumes that I prefer wearing in the lotion version because the perfume version is too intense. Stella works better for me in the body lotion (though I'm crazy about Stella Rose Absolute, so go figure), and same for Frédéric Malle Carnal Flower body butter.
