Cyanogenmod 7 is unstable on the HTC Inspire 4G, I have tried 7.0.2, 7.0.3, 7.1.0 all final releases and the GPS does not work, it works for 3 minutes and then stops working and doesn't find my location again, so no Navigation. Also the notification light doesn't know how to act, it just blinks in a random ass pattern, hard to explain, and the battery life is not very good, I am using Leedroid and have none of these problems, however I removed Sense and all that to be more like Cyanogenmod lol

I have a Motorola Defy (originally with MotoBlur). It came with Eclair which was o.k. Then Froyo came out as an OTA update and it improved Android in many areas. Then, I decided to do CM7 and it is AMAZING! It took a day or two to figure out how to do the mod but I can't believe I didn't do it sooner. Its fast, no bloatware, better on battery, less buggy, frees up memory and all while looking better and giving WAY more options. CyanogenMod for President! :)

help help, after updating through rom manager can i go back and delete the earlier updates and just keep my resent updates? Bacause they are big files. for example ill have cm_supersonic_full-104, then update to cm_supersonic_full-105. is it ok to delete cm_supersonic_full-104? im running cyanogenMod-7.1.0-RC1Supersoni­c

Cyanogenmod is a good rom, but the deck gingerbread rom is WAY better. It has its own launcher and not shitty adw launcher.

Launcherpro is ok....but the free version is no good.

CYANOGEN, IF YOU READ THIS CAN YOU PLEASE THINK ABOUT THE FOLLOWING.....CAN YOU PLEASE CHANGE THE LAUNCHER FOR CYANOGENMOD? Either to adw ex, launcher pro plus or even better...make your own launcher, PLEASE. Having adw as stock is a real turnoff.

If you could make your own one (like what miui did) then you can make it to fit perfect

How about making one yourself, and presenting it to cyanogen? Like others has said, cyanogen does not have time and the resources to deal with every little issue. Its the whole community support that gets this Aftermarket Rom running. If your turned off, then uninstall the stock launcher and get something else, its not like rooting your phone places more restriction. Just saying.

Questions, considering how CyanogenMod 7 looks does it runs heavy? I have a G2 too and I'm between Sense UI and CyanogenMod 7, I REALLY like SUI but CM7 have so much more, but i'm afraid it'll run slow or something, and second, does CM7 really enables the FM on the G2, because I have actually seen a G2 running SUI and it does enable it, but I'm curious about CM7, tho its still winning because of the themes and all. So any thoughts about it? Help anyone.

Alright, I got the google apps now lol..anyway, one thing I noticed on my phone and yours, when you change themes your short cuts in the notification disappear..why is that, is irt a bug or is it supposed to be like that?

Cyanogenmod 7 works great, except i get no sound`and no one can hear me, like it's all muted. Yet going back to my stock works fine. Would appreciate if you can help me, thank you!

my Motorola Backflip came with 1.5 originally, then 2.1, and now unofficial CM6 (Beta 1). The guy who made that rom is gonna eventually come out with CM7. By then I'll already be enjoying a much more capable Atrix. :)

@rajvosa71000 I'm not sure if Pocketnow has tutorials, but I used the tutorials by TheUnlockr here on YouTube. They were easy and step by step, just make sure to visit his website. I personally use the Visionary ROM. It's and HTC Sense ROM and it's awesome! Good luck.
