, great idea for you , used it myself for good success on foxes in england so should work for coyotes. i got a car windscreen wiper cut it off about quarter of the way down, then i hooked it up to battery , i dug a hole and buried the battery , just lightly covering it to disguise it. then i tied some of the strongest fishing line i could find , i tied it the end of the wiper and then tied a dead baby rabbit i had for ferret food to the end . bounces around like a dying bunny , works great

The first coyote was the focus of the camera, but the shooter was watching the other dog. In hind site we wish we would have been able to put a second shot in the first coyote sooner. It was interesting how the first coyote came up on the first one. Not sure if the second was joining his buddy or if the first acted as a decoy.

a gamo 1200 shoots 1200 fps is what i remember and a 22 lr shoots at around 1000fps and both of them can take out a coyote but at close range and head shots im no expert but with the gamo i wouldnt exceed a shot at about 50 yards and aboout the same distance with the 22lr. I use a 93r17 and i head shoot at around a 100 yards and it works great but i also use the winchester 20 grain bullets and i use a 4x16x40 scope with bypod it just depends on how good u are with ur gun

No most people kill them to keep a balance. When coyote populations get out of control they start hurting the populations of deer, elk, antelope, and they even invade nest of turkey duck etc.

Oh ya killing them yotes! I also use a 22-250! In my opinion they are one of the top caliber guns out there for coyote. Mine is dead on at 200 and i can hit at 400.

Coyotes are tough. I wouldn't use a 22. You would wound more than you would kill.

Coyote's are some of the most cunning predators to hunt. You must watch your scent and approach a set up carefully. Yote's that you actually see come in are some of the younger "uneducated" dogs. The ones you don't see & give up on are the more mature dogs.

I sat on a stand & called, saw one come in and loose her in the brush. Waited 10-30 min later & sqeaked a mouse call & nailed her at 50 yds. Patience is the name of the game & key to a sucessful hunt!

We use open reed distress calls. They all seem to have different personalities. I used a Quaker Boy Killar pipe the other day on a coyote that wouldn't tresspass out of his territory and got him to come to the call again.
