  • AWESOME!

  • @ryanlim2002 Thanks.

  • @tardisrescue I'll stake a bet that Awdry would be proud of this! RWS faces on the models! (Hint: Would be more awesome if the trains and coaches were RWS accurate as well! :D The bogied coaches and the LNER Thomas)

  • But its a good Thomas episode.

  • @penninefilms Indeed. Hopefully my adaptation will offer something slightly different to the TV series one ;)

  • @tardisrescue I think it will as you last upload of a Thomas episode was very well made and good to see.

  • whens it out?

  • @TardisAdventures Christmas Day :)

  • Oh my - this looks fantastic! You really deserve every subsccriber you have, and more! And if I don't get to speak to you in time, Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

  • @Tardistraveller600 Thanks! A very Christmas to you too ;)

  • @tardisrescue Oops, meant 'Merry', not 'very' :P

  • Fantastic work! One of my personal favourites - cannot wait to see your remake of it!

  • @bowtieanimation Thanks. It's definitely one of the ones that doesn't work as well with Trainz. Models is the only way to really bring the story to life, with a hint of book face magic ;)

  • Exelent! Are you going to make a remake of the show?

  • @Cesajool Just this episode. Should be up on Christmas Day.

  • Oh that camera movement was perfect! Beautiful adaptation here :)

  • @Thomasfan8Extras Wait until the real thing. I've made an effort to put my own stamp on this classic tale ;)

  • Wow this looks good! :D Excellent snow, must be a pain to clean up though :P

Love that end shot as well, takes real skill to film a panning shot like that so smoothly :)

  • @TheBlueE2 Could be worse. Because all my sets are on cardboard, I just fold the cardboard into a tube and put it back in. As for the pan, thanks.

  • Cool!

  • @ThomasTheEngine1 Thanks.

  • can't wait

  • @demarm1 Thanks.

  • Whoa, for just a short clip, that was impressive matey, the camera pan at the end was...well, it left me breatheless, never seen anything like that in a remake before :)

  • @SodorProductionsII Thanks. I've been determined to make this less of an episodes, and more of a film! That shot is one of my absolute favourites and was the one I knew I had to do at that point.

  • this looks exciting!

  • @thomas5070 It should :) See you at Christmas.

  • Dont know why I should continue to make videos now

  • @Robtheredengine Because we need all the model filmers we can get (since so many are fading away to the new era of Trainz). You're very good at what you do, and I'd hate to see another quality model filmer give up.

  • @Robtheredengine Because you're an excellent film maker, who works in a medium that isn't used as often as it should be any more. I always look forward to your videos :)

  • very dramatic that is, can't wait to see the whole thing

  • @LoweQualityProducts Thanks Curtis. There may be a preview...

  • Oh my lord mate! You always impress me! One of my all time favourites! Which from this looks like it is going to be a treat. This will be autoplayed on my channel! Mate, I'm really proud of you!

  • @diesalfan50 Thank you Louie. This really has everything in it, and as few flashy effects as possible. I hope you like it ;)

  • @tardisrescue Hope I like it?! No need to hope I will LOVE it!

  • The camera pan at the end simply had me impressed. I've never seen such a smooth transition in any model video from the community. Considering I'm not a fan of remakes, yet I'm highly anticipating this, I think that says something! Good job!

  • @SnowflakeTH Thanks for the comment about the last shot. When I decided to do Thomas, Terence and the Snow, that was the only camera idea I had. This was one of the parts that I felt was under-developed on TV. I want to wring every emotion out of the audience, and that shot makes Thomas look so lonely. Hope you like it when it's out!

  • Looks very good I will look out for it when you upload it.

  • @penninefilms With any luck on Christmas Day. Not the most festive tale, but one I'm definitely proud of!

  • This is really good. Cant wait to see it

  • @FanboyD2 Thanks.

  • classic, i like the way you have used the book face, never seen that before

  • @leokimvideo Thanks Leo! Everyone has their own memories of Thomas, and mine (despite the TV Series) will always be Clive Spong and his marvellous images. Glad you liked it :)

  • Cant wait to see it! Already looks better than my upcoming video with my 00 guage trains. What did you end up using for snow? It looks spot on :)

  • @TTTEandbigG I ended up using proper model snow from Woodland Scenics, just littered about my set. It has the perfect mix of grainy and sparkle, just like the real stuff :)

  • wow mate the sets are just lovley how did you make the snow

  • @jamesstarkey Brought it from ModelZone. It's Woodland Scenics. I tried flour, but it just clogged up in the engine's motors.

  • Very nice narration and filming and I'm certainly looking forward to this on Christmas Day. Have a 'Happy Winter Holida...Oops, I mean have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and hopefully see another great year of your videos ;)

  • @NWR1991 Thanks. With any luck, it'll live up to expectations as my first proper model episode, despite the fact I said I'd never do a remake with the models :P
