If anyone has any questions about anything leopard geckos please post a comment on my channel or send me a message. I am very experienced with them. Thanks.
hey so nice vids i subed u!! so I use bins and i didnt know that belly heat was better but my problem is im in Colorado where it gets very cold in the winter so what can i do to make the bin warmer???
inus a 65 watt light bulb. i just didnt want ur leopard geckos to die bcause heating pads can kill them, and i dont want that to happen:) i like everything els in the vid except for the heating part:)
@diabeticon87 um, actually if they were stressed out they would b extinct because the sun is a overhead light and I don't see wild leopard geckos being "stressed"
U DO NOT NEED A HEATING PAD!! U think u no what ur talking about but I'm sorry, u don't:( almost every thing u said I did nit believe and I have a 1,237 page book on leopard geckos and nothing u said was mentioned... I have had my 2 geckos 4 3 years and they r both healthy and happy. I hate when people post videos on YouTube and what they say is wrong:( I am just saying this because I don't want u taking care of ur leopard geckos badly. Thanks:) ~Gingerific123
I have just a reg heat lamp with hides and everything. BTW I have had my gecko for 8 months now. She has doubled in size and has the fattest tail around and I have NEVER used a heat pad due to it can burn her. So being peeved and saying the gecko will not grow properly was unnecessary.
She's correct about leopard gecko absorbing the heat via there bellies, but naturally in the wild the sun heats the ground, never use White bulbs, for me for years a blue day bulb, and an infra red bulb on for night time has work perfectly, 12 hours day/night.
I have a mini zoo med heat pad (like 3in.by 4in.) and a 75 watt infa-red heat bulb,on all day and night. My leo is good sized, tail and stomach. And he sheds fine. I was wondering do i have to much or too little heat? (he seems fine, but better safe than sorry lol)
you still need a light lol. Just need to say is that dont use sand. anddddd truly you need a light for extra head and the correct humidity for everything. also.. last thing.. just advice for anybody else! dont use heat rocks and dont put the heat pad on top of whatever you have for the bottom or else your reptile will turn into bacon lol. just need to say that. Not trying to dish on your vid

I'm setting up a 125 gallon leopard gecko tank. I'm definitely going with a heat pad but wanted to ask if the pad could be placed inside the tank under the carpet.. Would this get too hot?
hi im roald from philippines, i just got a wild tokay gecko, actually theyr 2 but i messed up with the male one i hold him on his tale and it splits, i was scare so i let him go, they both at the same hole whre i found them, i searched google for any info bout gecko and i found them amusing, i was interested to pet him, i put him on a cage put some water and artificial decors, i bought a super worm to feed him but it seems he doesnt want to eat at all.. what should i do? pls reply....
@neramee You should let him go and buy one from captive breeder. Don't take them from the wild, you don't know what you're doing, and they're a difficult gecko to keep. Let him go, do a lot of research on them, and see if you can do the upkeep. If you don't even know you can't hold a gecko by the tail without it dropping off means you shouldn't own one. Tokay geckos also bite.. hard.. If you keep mishandling them, then you're going to be in for a painful surprise.
i just bought a 30 gallon long and a 10 gallon tank for when i get my leos i also got 6 decorations and a few dishes all fo 50 dollars. i still gotta get the lights and the gecko
hello everybody i hate to advertise on someone elses video; ill favorite it to make it up. but please visit my page for some good leopard gecko vids and im open to other channel suggestions
mine grew fine with a heat lamp. has a nice fat tail pretty active but im sure it would love a heat pad. but i heard they get too hot and burn the gecko. same with heat rocks.
is it ok if i use a lamp at first then go to the pad cuz i dont have a pad right now and dont have money to get one im getting a breeding pair for 100$ and im slowly paying them off so i cant get the pad right now.
@tallfishman100 u could put a juvinile/young one in there but i reccomend staring with a 10 gallon if u dont want to spend a lot of money if u have a walmart near u , u can pick one up for around 14 dollars at most walmarts. Hope i helped :)
@tallfishman100hmm u could probally get buy with mostly mealworms what u want to do is give him at least 20% crickets and 80% mealworms dont feed to many wax worms they are more of a treat but they are still good to keep around. As for the crickets if u get a small cricket keeper they will very very easily hold that 20% of his food or just keep it in a tupaware container when he/she gets bigger u can also feed superworms whitch are just bigger mealworms pretty much feel free to ask more question
@tallfishman100 srry ran out of characters if u have a heated garage they will be fine in there but if not maybe in a basement or closet they just eat carrots or potatos or something along those lines hope i helped :)
@tallfishman100 I feed my gecko only meal worms, using wax worms as an occasional treat. I was unable to keep crickets but have used this method since getting her and she has done just fine for six years. In fact the vet said she was spoiled with a diet like that.
i hav a male mack snow leopard gecko and i just wanted to ask a question. i have a lamp and an under tank heater. my tank is about 85 degrees and 55% humidity. i do find that my gecko is on top of the undretank heater spot alot. is this a good heat setup for him?
