  • No but the lamp warms up the sand which there bellys are on

  • hey so nice vids i subed u!! so I use bins and i didnt know that belly heat was better but my problem is im in Colorado where it gets very cold in the winter so what can i do to make the bin warmer???

  • Them except dusted crickets every once and a while

  • What temp should I keep my lamp?I have both a lamp and a pad.My gecko seems to be fine but idk. What do vitamins do cus I have never used thte

  • thats right you are so cute..

  • You are so Cute Can i have a picture of yours? :)

  • i love my leopard gecko so much her name is faith

  • should i use a pad and a lamp? Lamp? or just a pad with a regular light bulb? please respond because im going and getting my new leopard gecko soon

  • inus a 65 watt light bulb. i just didnt want ur leopard geckos to die bcause heating pads can kill them, and i dont want that to happen:) i like everything els in the vid except for the heating part:)

  • @Gingerific123 no heating pads cant kill them outside the tank and wtf they need belly heat so they need heat pads /rocks no lights smart boy

  • @diabeticon87 um, actually if they were stressed out they would b extinct because the sun is a overhead light and I don't see wild leopard geckos being "stressed"

  • U DO NOT NEED A HEATING PAD!! U think u no what ur talking about but I'm sorry, u don't:( almost every thing u said I did nit believe and I have a 1,237 page book on leopard geckos and nothing u said was mentioned... I have had my 2 geckos 4 3 years and they r both healthy and happy. I hate when people post videos on YouTube and what they say is wrong:( I am just saying this because I don't want u taking care of ur leopard geckos badly. Thanks:) ~Gingerific123

  • @Gingerific123 okay than what do u use fir heating ???

  • @Gingerific123 screw off she knows more than you will ever knowand her geckos are very healthy.

  • I have just a reg heat lamp with hides and everything. BTW I have had my gecko for 8 months now. She has doubled in size and has the fattest tail around and I have NEVER used a heat pad due to it can burn her. So being peeved and saying the gecko will not grow properly was unnecessary.

  • well as long as the heat pad is OUTSIDE the cage it will be fine.

  • my local petsmart said that heat pads will burn the leos

  • ill eat your leopard gecko )if you know what i mean(

  • you make a video on leopard geckos and all people do is comment on your figure lol

  • is any one getting a hard on or is it just me

  • She's correct about leopard gecko absorbing the heat via there bellies, but naturally in the wild the sun heats the ground, never use White bulbs, for me for years a blue day bulb, and an infra red bulb on for night time has work perfectly, 12 hours day/night.

  • I have a mini zoo med heat pad (like 3in.by 4in.) and a 75 watt infa-red heat bulb,on all day and night. My leo is good sized, tail and stomach. And he sheds fine. I was wondering do i have to much or too little heat? (he seems fine, but better safe than sorry lol)

  • you are beautiful:)

  • Youre cute

  • Over head lights will stress the gecko out. She is right only use heat pads..

  • @diabeticon87 Heat lights yes, not a normal light though.

  • Do you use heat lamps?

  • you still need a light lol. Just need to say is that dont use sand. anddddd truly you need a light for extra head and the correct humidity for everything. also.. last thing.. just advice for anybody else! dont use heat rocks and dont put the heat pad on top of whatever you have for the bottom or else your reptile will turn into bacon lol. just need to say that. Not trying to dish on your vid

  • @ReptileFREAK22 heat not head lol

  • please subscibe cuz' she's hooot!!

  • This gave me soooooooo much info. I love your vids

  • hi im roald from philippines, i just got a wild tokay gecko, actually theyr 2 but i messed up with the male one i hold him on his tale and it splits, i was scare so i let him go, they both at the same hole whre i found them, i searched google for any info bout gecko and i found them amusing, i was interested to pet him, i put him on a cage put some water and artificial decors, i bought a super worm to feed him but it seems he doesnt want to eat at all.. what should i do? pls reply....

  • @neramee You should let him go and buy one from captive breeder. Don't take them from the wild, you don't know what you're doing, and they're a difficult gecko to keep. Let him go, do a lot of research on them, and see if you can do the upkeep. If you don't even know you can't hold a gecko by the tail without it dropping off means you shouldn't own one. Tokay geckos also bite.. hard.. If you keep mishandling them, then you're going to be in for a painful surprise.

  • All of you are pathetic i bet more than 31,00 people only clicked this because she is cute not to learn about leopard gecko essentials

  • u r soy sexy

  • agreed heat pads are expensive. Is it ok that I use a lamp? I'm on a limited budget(birthday money lol)

  • is it ok if i use a lamp at first then go to the pad cuz i dont have a pad right now and dont have money to get one im getting a breeding pair for 100$ and im slowly paying them off so i cant get the pad right now.

  • can you use rainforest lable instead of the desert lable for the heat pad?

  • I have ten leoperd geckos and 79 babies

  • Wow. Beauty AND brains!

  • do leos climb

  • @flashfang12 no they dont there ground gecko's but once in awhile they with be on top or there log or stci at leats mine does

  • thiz chik is fine

  • forget the gecko babe, i want u.. i'll keep u warm in my arms all the time.. i'll water u n keep u safe n sound

  • could i fit 1 in a 5 gal tank?

  • @tallfishman100 u could put a juvinile/young one in there but i reccomend staring with a 10 gallon if u dont want to spend a lot of money if u have a walmart near u , u can pick one up for around 14 dollars at most walmarts. Hope i helped :)

  • @reptilecole97 could i feed my gecko only meal worms and wax worms and not crickets? i dont think i will be able to keep the krickets in the house.

  • @tallfishman100hmm u could probally get buy with mostly mealworms what u want to do is give him at least 20% crickets and 80% mealworms dont feed to many wax worms they are more of a treat but they are still good to keep around. As for the crickets if u get a small cricket keeper they will very very easily hold that 20% of his food or just keep it in a tupaware container when he/she gets bigger u can also feed superworms whitch are just bigger mealworms pretty much feel free to ask more question

  • @tallfishman100 srry ran out of characters if u have a heated garage they will be fine in there but if not maybe in a basement or closet they just eat carrots or potatos or something along those lines hope i helped :)

  • @reptilecole97 Thanks now i just gotta convince my mom to let me get one.

  • @tallfishman100 ok good luck with that had to covince my mom too but once u get one its even easier to get more

  • @tallfishman100 I feed my gecko only meal worms, using wax worms as an occasional treat. I was unable to keep crickets but have used this method since getting her and she has done just fine for six years. In fact the vet said she was spoiled with a diet like that.

  • @tallfishman100 no a 10 at least

  • i hav a male mack snow leopard gecko and i just wanted to ask a question. i have a lamp and an under tank heater. my tank is about 85 degrees and 55% humidity. i do find that my gecko is on top of the undretank heater spot alot. is this a good heat setup for him?

  • Geckos store fat in their tails and if they are well fed it's NORMAL for their tails to be fat! I think your videos rock! Nice job!

  • how fast do they grow

  • where did u buy yours?

  • @alxbrwn just leave the food out and walk away he probly doesn't like it wen people look at him he will eat eventually

  • Do Leopard geckos like swimming?

  • @griffan456 thanks

  • u fine

  • Thats a pretty nice set up but it's my opinion to use the light in a non shady area so the Leo can come out and lay in the light at night but in the day the Leo stays in a shady spot in a tank I use a 55 gallon for my leo so half is shady half is non-shady

  • Comment removed

  • Ok Heating Pads are actually really good for the summer but when it comes to winter the leapard geckos are going to get really cold so u are actually going to need a heating pad and a heating lamp jst to keep them nice and warm, and srry to say this but I am using a lamp because it keeps the leopard gecko warm but when it becomes winter I am going to buy a heat pad because I live on the bay so it gets really cold here but thx for the advice thumbs up and favorite!

  • @HockeySurplus all the time

  • @wildchild9795 i have 2 lights 1 stays on all the time and its a black light just for heat, the other is a UV lamp that gives them their artificial sun and vitamin D and that goes off at night and on in the morning

  • @wildchild9795 also put a heat pad under the tank only if ur using repti- carpet if ur using sand, just leave it or put in a heated rock if u like that kinda fancy stuff

  • @MISTAlanky18 no dont but in a heat rock those r the worst

  • @reptileman24 depending on wat the person wants to do and the brand they are normally fine just a hassle and i dont like them cuz there is a cord the hangs out of the tank

  • @reptileman24 actually most reptiles that die because of a heating elemant die because of those damn things
