  • Hey man, I can see you know how to play the song but come on man!! Show emotion so it motivates the viewer!! Don't take this the wrong way, I'm only trying to help (:

  • best?drum?cover?ever?

  • well congrats, cuz after searching around, you're the most accurate of the drum covers uploaded onto youtube =D except for a virtual drum machine file someone created =/ that shit's always spot on -_-

  • Damn nice bro! What drumset are you using? That was awesome, and I don't believe in that "where's your energy" bullcrap because precision is all that counts =)

  • dude! I WOULD BE SMASHIN THE DRUM KIT TO THIS SONG! but your just extremely calm lol

  • @fordfan197 could you imagine how bad ass this song would sound if you had your snare loosened up, kind of like Metallica's St. Anger? =D That would be pretty sick! and yeah, this guy does seem a little calm but hey, oh well =)

  • nice

  • man too bad this is the only cover on youtube... :(

  • Are you of afraid of hurting your drums? lol. Nice cover btw, but you have to rock this song!

  • @rolfziel You should never have the drum stick more than 6 inches above the head because it will slow your speed down and make you prone to critisiscm for not following a basic rule of percussion.

  • grt cover!!

  • credOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • man...i love disturbed but this is easy shit, for some insane beats listen to danny carey

  • did you do this of a night when everyone was asleep cause your barely hiting them man let loose

  • I have to say thsi is by far the best decadence cover I've seen on Youtube. Just turn up the music I can barely hear it. 5/5

  • pretty good. it's just too bad you couldnt get a stereo to play the song in the background. unless you always play that soft...

  • kewl!

  • I suggest you try Evans E-rings on your toms :]

  • well i still can't get why the drum set has sooo many drums :D btw your rly good at it

  • bravo justin tres bon !! on dirais the real one !! continue tu devrais en poster dautre

  • Do you use single or double bass?

    Keaton{Orion_Lenged}

  • I use just one foot for the whole song except at one place I think... but I could have done it with one foot. It's possible if you're fast a bit.

  • No sorry, there is some parts you need a double kick except if you're not human :)

  • Lol. Well I'd hope someone would be human to even think about Disturbed let alone pick up a couple of drum sticks and play.

  • @jus1111 Well, if you're like me, you got a mad fast foot, and can make Neil Peart Double Bass Notes with one foot, i just use my Big Toe, and made a 20 second boom boom boom boom with only one bass pedal.

  • @jus1111 yea ok.have george kolias cover this song,he can do the whole thing with one foot,i guarantee it,not impossible

  • hey what kind of snare drum do you use? from the looks of your set i can see you obviously have enough money so that you can afford nice equipment, but from the sound of that snare you might want to put some money into one with a nicer tone and better resonance...maybe a deep brass snare or something along those lines. With that little extra investment it will make your set sound just that much tighter, makes a huge difference.

  • Well I prefer piccolo snares than big brass and this little mapple snare sound great to me. I know the sound of this video is pretty bad but it's is not because of the snare itself.

  • wow well done m8, you're great

  • awsome vid!it sounds like the real thing!sub to me!

  • very gentle :)

  • Well I don't think I would do it someday cause I won't be a good teacher and because I speak french so... I suggest that you get guitar pro software and download tabs for this song. That's how I learned it! You can hear drums only and slow down the speed.

    Cheers!

  • Thanks!! Ill have to try that! Is it free? And where do I get it?

    Keaton{Orion_Legend}

  • illegally download it, whilst u can still get away with it

  • Have you ever thought of doing a 'how-to' video? I have always wanted to play this song, but I just cant get it down...

    Just a thought...

    Keaton{Orion_Legend}

  • You are great on those skins(Drums)you could record this for Atlantic or Capitol Records! You're the greatest!

  • Great job, bro!

Sounds like you trigger your kick? What do you use for that?

Just a comment: notice that I always have great sounding drums, no matter where I am, and I never need a microphone. All my drum are perfectly EQ'd in a professional studio before I even play.

Virtual Percussion would be PERFECT for you. Plus, you can actually play drums, which helps :-)

    Great job, man.

    -mikey

  • hit them hardeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr, otherwise, very nice

  • put some effort into it, it looks like ur freakin bored doing that

    good otherwise

  • Nice cover dude , but hits harder haha =P

  • Missed the slight roll-down each time before the chorus starts, and too many cymbal hits during the chorus itself

  • noooooooooo you're greath this song is very cool

  • you*

  • how do you tune oyu bass drum like that?

  • Well the real sound of my BD is not what you hear. I use a firewire interface to record so I can trigger the sound of my BD on my computer. There's no special tuning... Actually, I use Emad drumheads from Evans for the batter and the resonant head with a small pillow inside the shell to get a full muffled sound.

  • i have the same thing in my bass lol it workd relly well

  • great playing, drums are a little soft though

  • your snare sounds ugly, but your toms sound great

  • In fact, I know my snare sound ugly on the video cause the quality is poor and also because the head was new when I recorded so the tuning could have been better than that.

  • great!!!!
