  • way to go dude! i got one JUST like it...the cover for the intake is gone on mine and i have a different muffler....my blower is the same, but the motor is newer...but luckily for you yours runs..i need a coil for mine

  • @lowbrocustoms96 that wiuld be too big for the go cart you wouldnt ever come across a situation where u would need that mcuh horse power on something that little

  • That primer button is not like a rubber primer bulb. You have to hold it in while pulling the engine over at full choke a few times then it will fire right up.

  • A Tecumseh that dosent suck. Very cool.

  • Nice old blower... Does it have an ignition kill toggle switch on the engine or up on the handlebars? Most of the older ones like that do.. Here is a tip about the Primer on these. Turn the igntion switch to OFF, if the fuel tank has a valve on it open it, put to full choke and hold primer baffle inward, pull engine over 2-3 pulls, then release primer baffle and flip ignition to ON and then give it another pull. My 7hp Tecumseh is the same style, its a 1973 Craftsman.

  • you push the primer when u pull the engine over with the choke on and it sucks the gas through mechanicly

  • Just amazing how these old small engines will fire up and run well after sitting all that time. My neighbors blower is about 25 years old and I don't even think he has ever replaced the plug! Sits outside year round and yet fires up and works like a trooper when it snows... Amazing machines!

  • she runs good for a old girl... its a long way from our snowblower... lol we use a newer (couple years old maybe) 13hp self propelled walk behind, with power chute, heated hand grips. had a big rock (like 8" wide by 14"-16" long and 2" inch thick) caught between the blades and the bottom.. it was a bitch trying to get the outta there.. have you ever seen llama shit go through a snowblower?? its like pebbles in a coffee can.. its friggin funny!!!

  • like a 10 hores that dose not have a lot of problems

  • There's no way I can give away something that big that runs. I don't have the kind of money to give stuff I paid for away. Sorry.

  • well maybe a 10 horse or lower ............... come on dude u have the coolest vids ever . and the last guy i asked he told me to go suck c***

  • All I have to say to that is to go to junk yards

  • hey can u like give me a motor mabye a 20 horse plz im 13 and trying to build a go kart and u sound like a prety nice guy coment bake kk

  • That's a lot to ask for free. Something that big is usually worth a couple hundred running.

  • dude you should make another vid of it !!

  • Sure looks like you need to adjust the speed at which the auger spins.

  • That was before the new auger belt was put it, it's going so slow because the belt was slipping the whole time. You can even see when it first started, it slipped so much the auger wouldn't even move.

  • you still have this? it seems like a nice old machine!

  • Yeah I still have it. After more than a year, I FINALLY got enough snow to try it out last week for the first time, works pretty good.

  • keep it! my grandpa has 2 old ariens and a gilson! they all work better than the new junkers!

  • nice leaf blower/ thrower

  • whos the old guy

  • lol, that's my step dad, it was at his house.

  • If it snows in your area this coming winter, take a video of your snow blower blowing the snow.

  • sure runs smooooth nice old machine :)

  • You are a lucky guy to own such an antique that still runs. Please change the engine oil before the snow flies. After so many years of non-use, the oil should have been changed before the "first start".

  • The oil was good enough to use for 3 minutes, but I changed it after and got it ready for snow season. (and it didnt snow at all!)

  • are all bearrings ok on it

  • I think thats the kind of primer you hold in and pull on the recoil a couple of times before you start. It draws fuel to the carb I think. Thats how I had to prim my dad's old snowblower.

  • Your quite right. A friend of ours said something along those lines. I don't know if it helps or not, but it starts fast everytime.

  • I have a Trailblazer 7 as well (though mine is a bit newer I think as the choke and throttle are in different places on mine). Bought it from my old boss and so far has worked great except for needing a new belt. Runs strong and starts first or second pull. You can get an electric start for it (mine has one) so might be something to look into if you're interest. I was also able to find an owners manual on ebay which was handy for changing the belt. Good luck with yours!

  • Yeah I always thought that was a primer, but just a choke on steroids. Your right about it running better then newer Tecumsehs and thats due to the new EPA regulations causing newer tecumsehs to run lean.

  • That know labelled primer is what it says it is. It is not a choke. It's supposed to get fuel out of the little fuel tube it touches in the carburator.

  • Wow, Im surprised it works so well for sitting for so long. Looks like it makes a good leaf blower instead LOL

  • who is that man that came to help? dont you have a new snowblower?

  • Thats my stepdad. Dave has a new[er] snowblower on his property. I have this.

  • Thats the choke, you push it in and pull.

well, thats how it worked on my older snowblower.

  • I guess it would do the same thing, but it already has a choke, that's why I'm confused.
