Yes, it sure did remind me of "Trains, Planes and Automobiles" and just as funny and poignant in parts. Plus they have the doggy (which endeared me to it from the beginning). I didn't think I'd like this movie all that much, but my son rented it and we watched it last night. I laughed all the way (except for the sad parts, of course)... Anyway, I highly recommend it.

I saw Due Date and kept thinking "remake". Especially when just before they crash, Robert downey looks at the dude driving and the dude turns into the laughing devil... that scene is a straight copy from planes, trains and automobiles.

Don't think I have ever laughed so hard at a 2 minute trailer this year. The theater I was at erupted with laughter. If you cant laugh or smile while watching it, then you are probably really lame and a boring person.
