  • Yea it's ok to do things the horse loves as long as it doesn't hurt them

  • And I like that you asked for nice comments only. Some sites are so rude so this is fun to read. Many happy trails to you both.

  • She must have been a very good horse in her day. It is great to see her doing what she loves. My old horse was 32 yrs. old and still insisted on being in the lead on trail rides.

  • wow she's really moving for having arthritis..looks like she's enjoying herself too :) reminds me of my old 4H horse Stormy who's turning 22 this year and still loves to run barrels and poles..

  • Great job!!!

  • umm... i hope she was given bute after this.

    shouldn't people condition their horses?

I'm glad she is doing it "just for fun" but still.

  • I am conditioning her. We went out for fun to get her used to being at an all day show. As you can tell I didn't push her, I just asked her and let her run at her own pace. She is on arthritis supplement. She was fine.

  • I apologize for my pissy attitude when I said that.

i do have to say that she is a cute mare.

  • thank you

  • @flashywinsorbar

True, do you have rear boots on her?!

  • Nice run! I can't believe she's 22. She did a great job for having 6 months off and only being conditioned in a week. Great job!

  • thanks! we aren't running nbha again for two weeks so hopefully she will be even better then :)

  • Look at those ears they are up....She sure does love to run!!
