Ball pythons do best in small spaces, which makes them perfect to house in rack systems. Also, you dont need hides for every ball python. My snakes eat, shed and breed without any problems and some of them dont have hides.
Kudos for your passion for these wonderful animals,to many times I have seen people not taking care of the breeding stock, and just in it to exploit the animals for cash, that pisses me off! I am happy to see you really care...
I think I started my collection around the same time you did. There addictive that's for sure. Right now I have 14 ball pythons and two that I'm paying off. They should come with a warning label. Once you start you can't stop :-)
think i like about this is u didnt cheap out and ur set for more when u get them its better to be prepaired then find a good deal and u have no room for them
@krazyChikenSnS i know you didnt ask me but i would like to throw in my two cents, from what i have seen at reptile shows there generally 1000+ depending on sex color and patterning
wheres their rock to sleep in? my snake loves his rock, snakes like to be in small spaces. it doesnt really matter if its dark or not. poor little guys =(
their nice snakes but i have a few questions, did u get in this business for the love and conservation of animals or the potential profit of those expensive animals? have you done your research on how to breed safly with proper weights and cooling techniques? have you done extensive genetics research on all these animals? for example if you were to breed that pied to a normal what would you get? most people spend years doing this before they get nice animals like those i am rather curious.
ballpython110... i could actually care less about the "money" for the ball pythons. I am breeding largly in part to be able to own some of the most beautiful snakes that there are. however, i do not plan on keeping every single ball python that i hatch out, therefore, i will be selling some eventually. i have spent countless hours researching the hobby and species. i am working closely with the breeder that i got my snakes from as well. (continued on next post)
(continued) yes, i have done my research on weights and cooling and breeding and genetics. a normal that is het for pied is the answer to your question.... you can breed those hets back to the pied or together for a chance to get pieds... het to het could also get you normals that are 66% possible het for pied. and if you breed a pied to a pied, all your babies will be pied. my fiance has gotten pissed at me multiple times for how much time i have put into this hobby. i love these animals.
(continued again) a reason i do look forward to selling a few of the snakes though is to put money back toward the rats and the electric bill and other supplies for the snakes. i appreciate your concern for my ball pythons, and it pisses me off too when people jump into something that they shouldn't because they are not devoted to it. i am devoted to these amazing snakes, and am very committed to make sure that they are properly taken care of and are given the proper respect that they deserve.
sorry cashmoneym103, these snakes are not for sale, and if they were, the least expensive one is those three is the butter which is worth about $400-$500, the bumble bee is worth $600 - $750, and the pied goes for about $1,000 to $1,200. You would have to be extremely lucky to find someone who is crazy enough to sell one of those morphs of ball pythons for only $30 or $55. Thanks for watching the video though.
Awesome Room & Collection! Those tubs are pretty big for those hatchling so i would recommend having at least two hides in there to help them feel a little more secure... Other than that, everything looks great and I can't wait to see your collection grow!
MrLeoGecko, actually ball pythons weren't on that list, didn't you read into it. It is only the big 9 species, to include boa constrictors, burmese, retics, green and yellow anacondas, and north and south african pythons, and a couple others.... but ball pythons ARE NOT PART OF S373. Look it up!
