I've only had the car out a couple of times with just 3 half track passes on it...My job prevents me from racing at this time. Hopefully I'll be able to freshen it up and put some full runs on it in 2009. With the limited track time, according to the incremental numbers, I think it will run mid
Thanks....I get some grief from bracket racers who tell me the "I need to have collector headers to go fast" I just like the sound them...who cares if I am losing 2/100's of a second? As rarely as I get the car out, it really doesnt matter.
Yea a dragster front engine or rear is just NOT a real down to earth "Dragster" if you don't have those "Zoomies" barking at you! Sweet ride KEEP it that WAY!!!!
Thank You !..The Nitro classes typically need that kind of service and can be turned around in in hour or so. My car runs a lower class and should last a lot longer. Unfortunately, I only get out a couple times per year. At that rate my engine should last until I reach retirement age.
Thank You for the kind comments...As to your question, No...The driving isnt really difficult, but the acceleration is pretty amazing....It still takes me by surprise....The most difficult part is all the time required to prepare the car for each time we race.
I have only had it out twice. I have only made 3 half track passes. I havent driven a dragster in 26 years, so I'm taken it a bit slow. Unfortunately my work schedule prevents me for going out more than a couple times a year.

Man if you EVER decide to put a little "POP" in the tank LET ME KNOW! Nothing like a A/Fuel digger!

NHRA AND IHRA should make it a class rule! YOU HAVE TO RUN "ZOOMIES" EVERYONE WOULD BE EQUAL, THEN WHAT DIFFRENCE WOULD IT MAKE?

I love the sound of that engine roar! Cool metallic blue color too. Is it hard to race a dragster?
