completely wrong, this game was set after the events of Modern Warfare One.

The last we saw of price was that he was being resusicated by a russian medic.

What we can assume is they revived him and he was taken to a hospital.

During the next few years the ultra nationalists took control of the government, which was now lead by makarov ( Zakahievs lieutenant).

When Makarov found him once he recovered, he was moved to the Gulag.

That is what i guess is the reason to Price's survival ;)

Aye, and also to give further evidence to this, when you rescued him the first thing he said was Soap, if this was set 5 yrs before MW1 then how does price know his name when in MW1 soap was just a private and in MW2 he is a captain.

And finially makarov leads the group called 'the shadow of Zahkiev'. Why would he call it the shadow of zahkiev if he was still alive And also why is their memorial statues of zakhiev in MW2 if it is set before his death?.
