there is a bump in the asphalt at the apex of that turn, thats what cause the rear to break loose.

I can't even tell what went wrong in this video exactly. Why did the rear start to break loose? It looked like there was going to be a wall or tree at the end :/

@rhdsir2 maybe he lifted a little too much just before the apex? It is kinda hard to tell exactly what happened. Something definitely cause the weight to transfer abruptly. @chopstickninja, great vid. Pucker factor: 10.

For those asking, only damage was a bent rear trailing arm, and tires had to be dismount/remounted to remove all of the debris from inside the bead.

Made the 2 hour drive home no prob.

Wow. That's scary. That's one of the faster sections of the track. As he was sliding, those trees just kept getting closer and closer. Yikes!

Oh, and good luck cleaning that dust out of the car. :) Mine still has dust in all kinds of places from a similar off that happened years ago.

@chopstickninja lol btw....did u get the motorsports package? or did u get the suction mount....and use ur own camera...cuz i wanted to get that and use a digital camera to film

@oaeproductions Yeah motosport package then got the tripod screw adaptor and then bought a suction mount with a tripod swivel tip. Works a lot better than the standard GoPro suction mounts. Shot with a GoPro HD Cam. Using anything larger and heavier may cause some shaking issues. Thanks for the props!
