this game was awsome especialy having nemesis chase u around made you think if i wanted to waste all that ammo on him or just run for it. to find out that he's just going to pop up again later on. but i think resident evil 1 was more realistic ish, with the bullets practicaly counted if u tried killing everything its was just u and kanife by the time u reached the end. which to me is more realistic that having everything u kill drop ammo. i miss games like RE 1 and SH1

@BristolPad I'm not so sure. I still think RE4 is deserving of the RE title. While the "zombies" ARE different, the monsters were still pretty gruesome and there was plenty of horror and surprise in the game. RE5 is where I think the series has turned away from classical horror survival.

Whenever I try to remember this game, in sound, I remember this tune. It's the game's theme, as far as I'm concerned.

A powerful, yet suave, tune. Always gave me feelings of relief (save room sanctuary!) and uneasiness at the same time, with it's foreboding tones.

Now... nostalgia is the prominent feeling.

This song with the believable and scary setting and context of the game ended up being an extremely depressing thing to hear while first playing it at 10 years old. Even today it has an impact on me, and only dark, sad emotions come to me, yet it's also so lulling that I need to keep listening.

It is depressing, but the best part of it is that its real, or it feels real. That feeling crawling up under your skin, reminds me of when I was 5 watching my older brother play this, I'd have insomnia and fear of opening doors.
