@coolz9000 it's called player of the year and not season so messi was player of the year in 2009 and 2010. They both score different kind of goals as messi runs past players and scores and ronaldo usually gets long range goals. The judging for player of the year is voted by people who have more knowledge of football than you and I, and messi got double the points in votes of ronado, also it's not just about goals.
