Of course white people are welcome as are all people at the small church which is about an hour from Santa Fe. I have been to Chimayo a number of times and have felt looked down upon because I am white. Everyone I talked to during my visits were friendly and helpful. They only ask that you behave respectfully and honor the tradition and magic of the Church and the surrounding grounds.

This is truly an amazing state. This church i have been to amazing. It does not stop there. Others such as the Witches of the mountains. And the practices of the zuni indians are fascinating,
i heard that about a place in new mexico where people get sand from a church and it heals them and the sand replenquishes mysteriously is this that place
