@PsychoReaper49 - I agree that it was hyped up more than it has proved, but so far the muliplayer features and unlockable content have yet to all be discovered. Story mode for the baseline of the game though, completely agree that it wasn't all that "Epic", although nothing compares to the graphics, gameplay, and squad teamwork that Gears puts together.

The fact that these people have been through so much bullshit by the end of the last game, and yet very little of these people's personalities change. Not to mention I didn't have one once of emotion for any of these people for all they are just stoic, steroid abusing, muscle heads, that don't seem to have any bit of compassion to show or give. @PsychoReaper49 You also have to take into note that most of the characters don't change, take Damon Baird for example, is because of their personal history. Through all the shit Baird has been through, he sleeps soundly and doesn't take emotion into it. But, throughout the game history he has latched a strong bond with Dom and Marcus. Marcus is a strong, willed leader, and we've watched him change as he breaks down slowly through the game. Same goes for Dom for he has reflections of Maria.

Baird, I have to say, is the one whom has changed the most in comparison to Cole, Marcus and Dom. Still he is the jackass we know, but he has changed since Gears 1.

There's actually alot of meaning to the two characters of dom and the Carmine. In a way they are polar opposites of the "war" effect. Dom, who lost his wife to locust, has given up and seems to want to die. While on the other side Carmine has lost two brothers so he bears an extreme hatred toasted the locust and will rip then to pieces with his bare hands. I may be wrong but that was just my observation.
