I remember how much more sad I became after I had to fight and kill Ray right after this part. Man the story to the BoF games, especially this one, are certainly memorable. I think they're better than the FF story lines.
This game was one of the best entries in the series. I loved the story all about religion and whatnot and the characters were great. Breath of Fire is a truly under rated series and its a shame capcom isnt making anymore.
Brother Ray, Claris & Tiga all in almost one scene was overbearing, which made me use way too much excessive force when I finally fought Habaruku..he didn't even last 3 rounds.
Whats that song in the end called anyone know? I did try and look for it around in youtube here but i found everything else BUT that song, it was the same about 7 years ago when i tried to look for this as a midi file aswell.. :P
What you heard is part of the track 'Creeping Shadow', by Yuko Takehara. That portion begins at approximately 17 seconds in and continues in that vein to the end of the piece at 57 seconds; the section prior to that seems to be just an introduction.

One of the most tragic parts to the story of BoF 2. It's sad how there's no other way but to have to fight Ray and kill him.

i actually felt a overwelming sadness when ray died because he sacrificed himself.

I became St. Eva's believer after I saw Tiga getting owned. He sooo deserved it for trying to take my Katt.

Why the hell should you believe St.Eva!? He is not the real god!! He's a false god!

funny as people couldn't get my sarcasm.
Still, I never liked Tiga because he was a character made just for humilliate our brave hero Ryu and have a useless death after that.
