@mikefromspace You can customize the parts of a tech 3 cruiser I think but that's about it. Tech 3 cruisers require a lot of skill points and money to get. Though you still have a large variety of ships to choose from the list. And you can choose the weapons and other utilities you put into the ships system. Though you need to train skills in order to be able to fly certain class ships and gear.
@DeoxysDNA I tried this for about 3 hours last night... omg how tedious it was. I don't understand why you can't warp closer to the stations. After I got some stupid decrypt book to deliver I finally got there only to find out nothing!!! I mean in the log it tells me where to go and I search for that place and it's not there. I know I tried the autopilot but it's all too confusing. Looks like it's for real nerds and without being able to make anything it doesn't seem fun at all.
@mikefromspace Well it takes maturity so if you are going to say something like "it's for nerds" then it probably isn't best for you anyways. All in all it's a fun game.
@mikefromspace The first few days, weeks, sometimes months, are not as fun as you'd expect. It's a very PVP-geared game, the PVE content is...lacking at best. Repetitive "Go pick this up and drop it there" and "Go there kill everyone" missions mostly. Recently Incursions and a while before that Wormholes were added, which offer a kind of PVE that's more demanding. The PVP seems boring at first, but is actually very complex.
@Helge129 Understood... but I stopped because it's just plain boring and unrewarding. The visual image of black empty space sucks. I imagine a game where mining takes place on a planet, and floating castles/ships move or sit around sending out mining bots, but there would be a lot of green, a lot of sunlight, strange and weird creatures like giant snails and wingless gargoyles who hunt men who set foot. Hope my art of this can make a game someday. Eve was just too slow/time consuming.
@mikefromspace It's well worth it in the long run though. You have to be one of those patient spacecraft loving people. They actually do have some videos somewhere on here that give prototypes of being able to land on planets. It's been a long time since I have played EVE, perhaps you can even land on planets by now.
In this eve online game, do they let you make anything / build anything yourself, or you can only select from a list of vessels???
