sometimes, the counterfeit version is better than the original, like the new iPod Nano's clone, has a speaker & FM radio & more compatible formats for pictures and video, in the same size iPod! Fake is sometimes better, even the fake iPhone.

Where the iPod and iPhone fakes nearly always fall down is in the user inteface. Either its very badly designed and/or looks totally childish. and the firmware is often very buggy. Plus their warranty isn't worth the paper its written on

The first one isnt fake its just a promo version of the one thats just came out [3rd Gen] as boddiz said the top is flat where as the new model is rounded.
