  • I cant believe you got away with flying your plane at the old faithful area! That cant legal :-) That's probably the most condensed area of visitors in the park.

  • Awesome video. Thanks so much for that. I like the H.G. Wells reference too.

  • what is the name of the song playing at 0:00 through 1:06 ?

  • I like the fpv part, Do you run an easy star? Fantastic idea, would have thought that people would have gotten mad at ya for flying around there.

  • What's the name of the song at the beginning? Great vid btw.

  • Does Anybody know the name of the first song used?

Sorry but I havn't found anyone that knows in the comments.

  • It's the first time you see a bear?

In Brasov, Romania, you can see them everywhere, right in the middle of the town. They're not grizzlies, but anyway...

  • Sorry, Water weighs less not rock on "average"...

  • Do you suppose the water has anything to do with cooling the magma beneath yellow stone and possibly helping hold back an eruption? Rock on average weighs less(~2lbs? per gallon) but rock doesnt really evaporate but it does absorb heat. I doubt it. Just a thought though. Actually the water probably produces solidified formations that would attribute to an eventual eruption Id suspect. Thoughts?

  • bears are the coolest.

  • Would it have been the end of your plane if you flew it through a geyser cloud?

  • Anyone know what the first song is called?

  • Dramatic chipmunk @ 10:29

  • Anyone pause it at 4:49 to see 'the ghost of Thunderfoot'?

  • yea =D

  • Awesome video, nice variety of things to see in this one :)

  • Ravens are awesome! I wish you'd filmed glacier rather then yellowstone. Glacier is just beautiful. Yellowstone is some geysers and sulfur smell.

  • love the old raven at the end :)

  • bears are so sweet, even when tearing animals apart.

  • Ur awesome! :)

  • amazing

  • Man that is soooo Cool!

  • man i wish i was on that road now. i damn wish it sooo much

  • The wildlife in this one was just fantastic.

  • If time lapse doesn't help you visualize geologic time scale. I don't know what does.

  • I love the US beautiful country!! I want to go visit again - though wouldn't want to live there!

  • I really love what you are doing, TF! Bravo!!

  • =(

    Babies to feed...

  • lol please press enter when writing a description... that impossible to read.

  • The bear's having a go at being a badger, digging for worms. :)

  • I actually liked the coming and going of the clouds in the timelapse more than the geyser itself.

Did you visit the Grand Prismatic Spring? It's fairly spectacular, and even more so if you have an interest in microbiology.

  • lol TFoot close up/drive by at 4:49

  • worms? Bugs and ants perhaps?

  • Is that lime on the floor around the vent?

  • Bears Rule!

  • "I hope there aren't any dirt roads ahead!"

No kidding mate. You want to try riding a motorbike sometime and then find yourself on some soaking wet back-road with large patches of fresh cow crap covering the road. Riding over cow crap is worse than hitting oil-slicks, it's a terrifying experience.

  • Something about that "From afar" sign tickled me.

Thanks for another excellent video :)

  • I just love that sign.

  • great video..love the bear footage..

  • good work,,,,great footage...captivating..

  • Great vid. I like the music you chose too!

  • I am so jealous. I wish I could see a brown bear in the wild.

  • This is one of may favorite videos of your travels so far. The timelapse is amazing as well as the view from your plane's cam. The music fits perfectly too.

  • Look at those beautiful wildflowers.

  • I love the timelapse of clouds. Especially when it's completely overcast and your are driving. It looks like watching the surface of a fluid from beneath.

  • pause at 4:49, and you can see a very rare Thunderitis Footamara!

  • 4:49?? Jesus??

  • I love Yellowstone :)

  • I love the timelapse. Watching the clouds puff past as mere gas reminds me how small and young the earth is.

  • If I ever travel to the States, Yellowstone will be top of the agenda! Great tight shot on the Grizzly. I've only seen black bears. Even a 60 kg black is extremely powerful! Youtube search keywords: 'Troy Hurtubise Project Grizzly' for an interesting aside ;)

  • I am guessing you are unaware that a grizz can travel 60 feet in it's first second of attack. You looked about 60 feet away. Lucky it was only a small grizz!! They are beautiful creatures to watch while they go about their business. I used to live just outside of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park on the central coast of BC Canada. Over 500 bears in the park there and you can see them fishing through out the summer and fall.

  • 60 feet per second? so thats 2454 mph?

  • 41 mph actually, but you were close.

  • blame google

  • Splendid footage on the raven.

  • Look at that beuatiful sea of clouds rolling on by in the beginning. Truly wondrous!

  • I saw a grizzly in Yellowtone, by Mt Washburn.

  • I was in Yellowstone last month. It's spectacular.

  • And to think there probably WERE dozens of people watching that thinking "Golly how great God made this thing for us to look at!"

  • After the "From Far" sign I was expecting a little sign by the bear's nose saying "From UpClose"... And that plane's view... wow... But cut the red wire ! the RED wire! :P Anyway, v. nice places and filming.

  • You should be glad for all the little demons causing those geysers! What would you do without the supernatural?

  • demons? i thought it was dragons. ive been mislead.

  • The Old Faithful timelapse has got to be a favorite!

  • Impressive as always.

  • Beautiful as always. :)

  • FANTASTIC timelapse - a highlight for sure.

  • cluckin bell wish i could do all that

  • 4:49 , It's tf00t's face, managed to pause ;)

  • Hope you had a powerful zoom on that camera or else you were way too close :)

TF eaten by a bear would have made way too many creationist's day

    Great timelapse on Ol Faithful

  • Well according to dprjones Thunderf00t does have a deathwish :P. I could imagine creationist would rather have some natural catastrophe since then they can easier say: god did it :P but yeah Thunderf00t's message is immortal :), and yeah he's like climbed mountains and stuff, no way anything is going to threaten thunderf00t :D

  • amazing video, TF!

  • Whew, I'm glad that bear didn't get the same idea as the chipmunks at Lassen. 'From Afar' is an all too appropriate sign there. ;)

Once again, the time lapse and flying footage was really cool.

  • great video tf, that was very cool, thank you

  • That bear's mannerisms are very much like my dog's... O_o

  • Get in the car!

  • Yout get some amazing footage. I've never seen a grizzly but our local zoo has 2 young black bears that have a huge enclosure that is set up like a state park or picnic area. The bears are by far the most amusing animals there. I've sat there for hours laughing at them and the way they play. Very curious playful creatures.

  • It's a fucking bear! RUN!!!

  • Bears love the chase moving things. That's why it's a bad idea to run.

  • Not if I can run faster than you! ;) :D

  • I think I would say to you lets make a run for it. While you take off running, I would play dead. lol... :-)

  • You're gonna have a hard time playing dead when I throw a bee hive at you; the one I keep in my pocket for this completely implausible scenario. :D

  • Ok..OK you win. I almost spit coke all over my computer when I read that.

  • It's a fucking bear! Run!

  • Honestly did not see your response before posting. Hilarious.

  • now that bear is a beauty

  • The raven's al like "Hey, wassup?"

  • You know, through all this beauty, you know, in the universe, I've completely forgotten about his Ray Comfort adventure. You ought to get heading home soon TF00t, don't know how much more of a beating your car can take.

  • You know I think he should just keep on enjoying the beauty of the universe. If we would all do that we could put this religion vs science rubbish behind us and all do more for to help the earth heal

  • Bears are beautiful, I want one. What exactly was he eating? Worms?

  • thats what tf00t seems to think hes eating worms

  • excellent

  • I think you said something to offend the bird.

Glad you made it to Yellowstone. One of my most favorite places on Earth.

  • One of your best ones yet. You're turning into David Attenborough.

  • Beautiful plumage :P

  • What's the frist song?

  • wow! Amazing

  • Wonderful footage TF! :)

  • best defense against a grizzly, a winchester model 70 in .30-06 or a bigger gun yep.

  • *Yellowstone HURR DERR. newai, Grizzly was epic

  • whats the music playing during the old faithful time laps

  • Hey "DistinctiveBlend" and "iDeist" Must you really (and everyone who does this) get into arguments on a comment posting war? Send eachother acuall messages. I believe "Myspace" is for getting into verbal battles over the internet.

And dont attack me next either because i will not respond. Have a good day, Gents!

  • Who made you Mr comment Nazi :D

May you also have a good day.

  • That's a pretty enormous crow!

  • Should have had a 45 mag and yell it's coming right for us and shoot it.

  • I can't believe they let you fly your plane over the geysers...

  • This videos are making me crave a roadtrip like I never have before. I'm a certified homebody and couchpotato....but wow!

Thanks so much tf00t for some great vids. You should be hired by a tourism board.

  • Tf00t, where did you get that great remix of Olive's "You're Not Alone"? Fantastic video and music!

  • It's a remix by Nightmares on Wax

    It's on YT too

    It's great

  • Thank you, friend!

  • How did you get away with flying that plane and not getting bitched at by the rangers?

  • what an amazing landscape

  • Anybody know the song at 3:35? He used it in one of his older videos and I could never find out what it was.

  • Who you callin decrepit, mate?

    Signed,

    Raven

  • i lol'd

  • Deism? talk about intellectually bankrupt, hunch back over that bong you tool...

  • Shouldn't you be blowing Gary right about now?

  • There is no counter-point to deism, it stands retarded all by itself, besides this is not the forum for it.

  • @iDeist: You sound like an insufferable bigot. With such a openly low tolerance and disdain for things lower than your standards, It's likely that very few people can stand to be around you. But that's okay, because it's 'their fault for not equating to your level of intellectual mastery.'

The purpose of these videos is to gain a sense of humility and appreciation; two things which don't appear to have made it into your unrivaled, god-like intellect yet.

  • So what is your argument iDeist? Where is the evidence of Deism? Or will you just appeal to ignorance?

Doesn't Occam's razor put Deism in its place?

  • Your comment has been thumbed down to the point where it is unreadable so I guessed your point was for Deism.

No need for all the aggression iDeist I actually wanted to hear a response. Instead I got a string of hate..what a surprise.

  • eh like I said it was a guess and based on the replies and your username I didn't think it was that bad of a guess...

Do you have a point now or are you just trolling?

  • do you find beauty in the universe?

  • Sure, while it might be subjective it still moves me.

    Don't you?

  • You don't find some females/males beautiful?

  • Alright then...what is the point of this discussion?

Some people see beauty in the universe and you don't..where is the argument?

  • Sure do...but that doesn't take away from the beauty... you need a contrast.

  • I admitted as much from the get go. Beauty and ugliness are subjective.

If you remove minds then things just 'are'.

  • Thunderf00t, I find your haters intellectually bankrupt!

  • Please don't feed the iDeist.

  • so you see no beauty in insects under a stone? African plains? or human skin?

Do you enjoy anything in life? Because i love all of those things.

  • compared to your videos iDeist that'd be glory incarnate.

  • nice shit post

  • hur hur hur hur, got anything viable to actually say?

  • youre fucking actually asking me this? after a totally irrelevant shit post? get your head checked kid.

  • after you attack perfectly good videos and just spew pointless, aimless garbage, yes i do ask you this.

  • Raven's are awesome, so intelligent. Fantastic Vid TF!

  • Another epic vid (:

    Hardly surprising really :P

  • If a grizzly tears off your car door to get some food you left inside and a ranger comes around, they will give you a ticket for feeding the bears. :D

  • And while eveyone's eyes were on that bear Booboo made off with their pick-a-nick baskets.

  • I've heard of bears eating ants before. Perhaps thats what he was doing.

    Great footage.

  • Yes, they do eat ants. They basically eat everything they can find :)

  • I have also heard they eat moths. They need protein so they can hibernate for the winter.

  • Absolutely Amazing footage of that bear. You were so close to him!

  • You do know that there's a super volcano beneath Yellowstone, right? :)

The reason for the hot springs and geysers.

  • Awesome stuff!

  • anouther fantastic video. absolutley great seeing that bear up close.

  • FFS how can anybody not like tfoot? cmon you gotta love this guy!

  • Whats with the hole ranger thing and not sleeping I don`t get it Oo

Ohh yeah awesome video as always

  • is'nt yellowstone and old faithful a volcanic caldera? if that sucker erupts it's going to take out half the state....

  • Google "Supervolcano yellowstone discovery". More than "half the state".

  • Fred Phelps is probably already fapping to the thought of a full-scale eruption of Yellowstone.

  • I could almost smell the sulfer, mate!

  • damn i was in yellowstone 2 weeks ago. saw president obama. you are lucky out of the 5 times i have been there i haven't gotten to see a bear roaming freely.

  • I hope you saw "castle geyser" or something like that. It's not as big as ol' faithful, but it goes off every 20 minutes or so and blows pretty violently for a few minutes.

That raven was checking you out.

  • omg lucky the bear didnt kick the livin crap outta you.

  • It was a four hour drive between my house and my grandparents. We used to drive it about every two or three weeks, and we'd see bear cubs running accross the street almost every other month. We never saw any wolves, though, despite the fact that there were far more "wolf crossing" signs.

  • I want to visit America soooo much....

at least I get to see the best bits, even if it is in a low-res youtube vid :P

    Thanks again Tf00t :D

  • Ditto.

Yeah, video was really pixelated, reloaded to watch it second time, and video looks fine now, apparently it took some time to for youtube to process it.

  • Ah yes, there's the lovely high quality version! I really should stop watching these so soon after he posts them :P

  • cute bear :-)
