    This flood actually took place on March 25, 1928, when an early spring snowstorm turned to rain the night before this, which melted the snowpack.

  • @radbrent: At 2:14, you can see the Virginia Street Bridge. The camera is facing southeast, which would place this shot at the alley between Virginia & Sierra St. parallel to the Truckee River on the north side.

    The rest of the footage I find hard to identify the exact locations. I think some of this was shot near Wingfield Park, which was flooded that day. I believe the swing set was on the west side of Arlington (then named Chestnut St.) on the south side of the river. Anyone have more info?
